"Fantastic smoothies! If you're pregnant and struggling with severe morning or all-day sickness like I was, I highly recommend the Premama smoothie. I had five days of feeling awful, and yesterday was the worst of all. In search of relief, I decided to try a smoothie, and I found this one on the menu. It was absolutely perfect! It gave me a boost of energy, and now, the next morning, my nausea is completely gone."

"The counter girl was super nice and very knowledgeable. The store was spotless and behind the counter was very very clean as well. The smoothie only took a couple minutes to make as I was the only person in the store. I came in around 8 pm and they close at 9. I am not familiar with their menu, so I explained the flavor of the previous smoothie I had tried a couple years ago. The employee knew right away which smoothie it was. What a treat to get the taste you are craving! It was a pineapple strawberry kiwi.. Something. It was fantastic! Really, my only complaint is the prices, which are excruciatingly high... But guess who walked right into the place knowing how much they were going to spend? Yep and I did it gladly because I knew what I had to go through to do it at home."

"This location is the worst smoothie king I ever tried in my life. This is my second time being disappointed with this location.. I asked for a refund last time , this time I ask for a refund no manager or no experience associate their to give me a refund. Every time I went to this location an place an order at the drive thru , the associates seem to always misunderstand the order and make you repeat your order 3& 4 times and they still don’t MAKE IT HOW YOU ASKED FOR IT” every one at this location need to me retrained on how to smoothies and they also need to make comprehension a requirement .. please save your money and do go to this location the one on Jefferson is the best in fr wayne in my opion I never had an issue there"

"This place is a mess not only have they gotten my order wrong upon visiting twice, but it 's visibly messy inside ran by somewhat idle employees. I 've been in the service industry before one thing you want to avoid: letting the clients see too much of the behind the scenes. Whether it 's the mess that was the slippery restroom that still seemed to be dirty even with soap suds on the floor or frozen strawberries in a jelly like substance lying out in the open, the lackadaisical employees seem to not really care about their role in facilitating this location. I understand if employees may not enjoy their job, but then why be there? Give it your all while you are there. Upon the last visit our orders took a bit longer with one employee in the back, my smoothie tasted like rotten fruit, and I visibly encountered messes throughout this place. If you can see the mess, then you can sure bet on the processes in place here being a mess. Smoothie King Corp., you need to work on this one!"

"Chris is not a good manager. Jesus I am a single mother and accidentally sent my daughter order to another store on the mobile app. I just asked him could just cancel the other order and pick up the smoothie from his location and he refused to send it to the other store as if I didn't want to send it to the other store, but I could call it and pick it up and just pick it up so I don't have to pick up late my daughter because I give her a smoothie every Friday I think it's just terrible customer service a smoothie mistake is not to kill his business, please work on."

"I normally don't give negative reviews however I have to say this. I came to the store in Livonia to purchase a can of vanilla sunwarrior protein. I called before I came to ask if they had it and the young lady said yes. I told her i was on the way to pick it up. When I got to the store she told me that she did not have it and that she remembered talking to me but that she gave me the wrong information. I drove from Novi to Livonia to pick up this protein powder so I asked her if she would mind calling another store to see who had it so I would not have to continue driving all over the place. She told me NO, if I wanted to find out who else had it I'd have to call them myself. I was offended at her tone and asked for the manager. Well, she was the manager. No she was not obligated to call but what happened to customer service? There was none! Needless to say I went to the store in Plymouth. They didn't have what I wanted but asked if I might want to try a different product in vanilla. Therefore I spent my 44.99 for 2 smoothies at another store. Again, what happened to customer service?"

"This was my first visit to the Ballantyne location, and I had a great experience. I ordered and paid through their app, which was a simple process. I encountered no issues with app updates, which I really appreciated—it's refreshing when apps work seamlessly. Initially, I thought I might need to download a new version, but the update was quick and easy! The store itself is a charming place, and the staff were both efficient and friendly. My smoothie was ready when I arrived, and I had parked conveniently right in front of the store. The smoothie was perfectly blended and had the ideal consistency. Just a heads up, there's some construction nearby, and that area can get quite congested."

"This location has issues! The app shows that they are closed on Thursdays! I placed an order through the app and got a confirmation but upon arrival the worker did not turn on the lights or unlock the doors. They FINALLY answered the phone at Noon today. The GM Christina let me know that they are human so they were late and the worker needed to prep the store. She told me that I could file a complaint and that she could refund my money ONLY if I provide my card number. Um why would I trust her since the first guy claimed that they opened at 7 today when I 'm fact at 7:23 they were not! I asked who the owner is but all she knows is Bob . Funny thing is that the NCSOS shows Chad as the owner. Beware and especially of Christina she is human (and condescending)."

"This establishment is poorly managed. Today, I drove through to get a smoothie, and while the menu listed the price as $10, I was charged $11. When I raised the issue with the young man at the window (who clearly wasn't at fault), he informed me that all the menu prices were incorrect because the manager had not updated them. This is an unfair and dishonest business practice. If you're going to raise prices, please take a moment to update the menu accordingly. On another occasion, I visited the store with my young kids, and they needed to use the bathroom. Unfortunately, the restroom was in a filthy condition, but we had no choice but to use it since they are so small and urgently needed to go. To make matters worse, all the napkin dispensers were empty."

"the lobby is permanently closed, only passing through. drive through takes about 15-20 minutes per customer, and the bad construction of the journey through lane means any kind of line will block the entire parking space, and the lines will be extremely long given the excessive time per customer. there is also a very large pothole right in front of the drive through the window that they cannot avoid when they pick up their smoothie. the personal is amicable, not exactly the kindest service, but in the regular polite. this smoothie king really needs something refreshing/redesigning, maybe rent enough people to actually open the lobby, clean the place up, reorganize the drive through, etc. the smoothies were always quite good, but the experience of buying them leaves much to be desired."

"So after shopping at Aldi I wanted something fresh and decided to get a strawberry extreme at Smoothie King not the 1st time I've been there and ordered the same thing) I ordered a medium, she asked if i wanted extra strawberries I said no thanks thenshe asked cash or card,I said card. Before I inserted my card she said your total is $9.30!! For a medium smoothie !! I saidwhoa, wait there must be a mistake in which she replied, No. I said I know on several occasions I have only paid 5 something.She told me to push the red button on the card machine which I did. She was just standing there, so again I told her thatshouldn't be right, for a medium no extras? She started playing around in the register but never said anything. There werecustomers behind me and i repeated that i have ordered this same drink and only paid $5 something but no response, so I saidthat's OK, I don't want anything. I figured she would say let me see, maybe she made a mistake and would correct it but no, shesimply said ok! So I left and went to Chick-fil-A . I'm sorry but this was ridiculous. There are too many great places to choosefrom and I guess that's what I'll do. Edit- after writing my review a person from Smoothie King replied and asked me to emailthem so they could take care of the issues I had. I did and I have not heard a single word from them!! It has been over a monthso they can't say it was too soon for me to write this! I guess they want to LOOK like they care by replying to my review butapparently they don't! But I do not care because we have many choices to get a great Smoothie with great customer service otherthan this establishment!"

"I've been getting Smoothie King a decent amount lately, at various locations. I get the same thing almost every time, and I've consistently had a good experience (well blended, tastes good, etc) until coming to this location. My smoothie was not completely blended and had chunks of fruit and ice still in it. The bottom quarter of the cup was nothing but ice cubes and I couldn't drink most of it through a straw. Of all the Smoothie Kings I've been too, this has never happened until stopping here. I highly recommend choosing another location."

"The girl working at this location is beyond rude. My last 2 experiences I brushed off just assuming she was having a bad day. Visited the store again because I’m pregnant only crave Smoothie King smoothies and she refused to even unlock the door even though the store opens at 7AM. It’s after 10AM, all store lights are on she just stared at me with her headphones on refusing to open the door. What’s the point of opening up a store if you won’t even let your customers inside? Very unprofessional."

"I visited the drive-thru today, December 10, 2023. I paid $11.19 for a 40 oz smoothie but was handed a 20 oz instead. When I pointed this out, the girl brought me a larger cup, but as I started drinking, I noticed the consistency was off. I frequent this location 2-3 times a week, so I could tell something wasn't right. Upon closer inspection, I discovered it was actually a 32 oz, not the 40 oz I ordered. I went inside to speak with the manager, or whoever the tattooed girl was, and she explained that they were in training that day. I pointed to the display showing the cup sizes and asked how much training it should take to get the correct cup. I ultimately decided to take a refund because the smoothie didn't seem to be made correctly, and I doubted the trainer was giving proper attention."
