"Food: 1/5 Soggy, too much sauce, a hint of soured rice, dry fish, and unappetizing presentation. All for the grand total of $30. See for yourself in the photos... Not worthy of the asking price, as I 'm sure you 'd agree, too. Service: 2/5 While my rating my seem unfair for the servers whom had worked that day. It still reflects overall quality of service I 'd received. Visited this establishement on Sunday 6/16/2024. I 'd arrived at the restaurant around 6:30pm, placed my order in by 6:40pm. Food didn 't come out until 7:29pm exactly. Between this time, my server had checked on me twice. Once to bring me my salad. Second time when I had ordered a beer around 7:05pm... just to kill some time. Between that and the arrival of food, no one came by to check on me. Even when my beer glass/can was empty. Because of the terrible delays in bringing what I 'd ordered, I feel they were trying to avoid eye contact... or any interaction for that matter. Also, my server didn 't understand what ginger was. I don 't blame the server, however, I do blame the owner/head waitress whom seems to the owner/operator of the restaurant for not training the server with the basics. Almost forgot to mention, when I ordered aforementioned beer, I had asked for a Sapporo. When I asked for a second one, the same server had brought me a Sapporo Black instead... and ensuring me that it 's the same one I 'd ordered previously. What? Atmosphere: 2/5 Some people may say, Hey, the restaurant was probably really busy. Thus, why they had brought out your late. Well, you see. I had taken a picture of the dining area. See for yourself and tell me how FULL the restaurant is. Mind you, most of these people still sitting were on their way out. By the time I got done with my plate of food, there were only 2 tables plus the same people on the sushi bar. The decor is old. Unorganized. And the space is restrictive. My chair was a bit too low compared to the table. But I guess that is all subjective. They do offer a Happy Hour for drinks, but it 's only good until 6:30pm. Overall, while I wasn 't execting a great experience, but I 'd sure hoped it would be good enough for me to visit regularly as it is the only sushi place near where I live temporarily. But after spending $50+ for a dinner, I 'm more than disappointed to say that I would not be back at this establishment again. PS. Don 't be surprised to see they ask for minimum 20% on tips when you pay with credit card."

"The staff at this restaurant was incredible! They were friendly and helpful, working seamlessly as a team. I found the shrimp tempura and salmon rolls to be delicious, although they were smaller than I anticipated. The calamari impressed me, and the spicy mayo dressing had a fantastic flavor without being too hot. I was taken aback by the few customers present, suggesting that the community hasn't fully embraced the restaurant yet. This should serve as a wake-up call for the management! They need to understand what diners are seeking and gather feedback on how people feel about Sakura."

"Good Sushi and Hibachi. Went on 08/11/22 and if there is one thing I want to comment?s the HOST! The girl is amazing. When we asked for the reservations, she went beyond and beyond to make sure that I had what I wanted. Once we were there, she was so incredibly friendly and kept busy. She knew it was my friend's birthday and at the end of dinner she went to the table to make sure he had a good birthday and that we sang happy birthday. The cook and the food were also amazing. The server was so incredibly sweet, but def seemed overloaded with tables (I saw her serving 7 big party-Hibachi table) but with how busy she was amazing and tried her hardest and I understand that I was short staff. She did a great job. But the host is 100% the reason for my review. The girl deserves an increase!! Look at the date and who worked and thank her because she is the first person you see when you come, is an amazing look for the restaurant"

"Located in a raunchy neighborhood with limited street parking. Took us a few circles around the neighborhood until a space opened up. Privately owned and run. Just wish they spoke and understood better English as it was a little troublesome asking questions and staff not understanding. Makes it uncomfortable on both our parts. We had the table service where you cook your own food. As it turned out, they kept returning and cooked our food. Some of the sides that comes with the meal was not the tastiest. Kimchee was spicy but good and the main course of bulgogi was tender and sauce was juicy and marinated perfectly. Prices are higher but worth it!"

No one came by, nobody bothered to check. it was not busy, they were very unorganized. a good note that a table needs to place an order is probably the essentialness of the menus on the table and the abnormality of dirty directed. without service it went out and all the server float around the lobby/host floor area."

"Our last night of vacation in Miami Beach and we decided to spend it in Wynwood. We read about restaurants and decided to visit Boketto as we read online that it was a unique concept and had all the good reviews. Unfortunately, our experience was unsatisfactory in every respect. We were a party of four and secured a reservation of 8:00. We sat fast and had a slow greeting from the only server that worked at the restaurant on Sunday night. Was at least 15 minutes before he greeted us, and we were then given water and could order our appetizers. At first we ordered the schishito paprika (but they were out), so we decided for the Korean cauliflower cauliflower ( came back 10 minutes after they said that they did not, so that we decided to give up appetizers). We ordered 4 dishes (4 ladies food). My daughter ordered the grilled octopus and while she said it was very good, she was served 20 minutes BEFORE the other 3 of us, so she had to eat before us and was finished and had to watch us at dinner when our FINALLY came to the table. It is simply unacceptable to serve a party that is so advanced from the rest of the table. My sister has come the Yakiniku Steak bowl and the server to tell her they were made of rice for her, so she said that the Vermicelli was fine when the dish came on the table, it was on rice, but it was crusty and clumpy and the steak bits were all fat and gristly and visibly inedible and they could even chew it. Our friend has the chap and said it was okay, certainly not the best, but also not the worst. I ordered the grill Shrimp Vermicelli and the shrimps were acceptable, certainly not grilled, as the server even told us that they did not really grill them using an oven. The Vermicelli was a sticky mass in the bowl that was not even a warm temperature and there were no aromas or sauce in the bowl, sad, the best part was the cut cucumber as a shrimp. Service is minimal and management ineffective. Not recommended"

"Ordered 5 soups (they were good) ordered a tuna tataki(it was ok) then we ordered 6 rolls all of which were pasty and lacked any flavor but fishy fish throughout. The service was awful and they charge 18% gratuity just for sitting down. I guess they can treat you like garbage since they’re already getting paid. This picture is at the end of our meal we told the server we were dissatisfied she said sorry and brought us the check for the full amount. We paid then I found her and asked to talk to a manager. She said he was not there and that maybe he would help me if he was there but she would not. This is atrocious. Do better. Would not recommend unless you know nothing about sushi or what it’s supposed to be like."

"This restaurant is a charming spot with excellent ramen! While I can only comment on the vegetarian/vegan option, I thought it was truly delicious. The ambiance is more upscale compared to other ramen places I've visited, and I really appreciate the spacious booths along the wall. You can customize your bowl with various toppings like egg, onion, and corn. The portions are HUGE and very satisfying, even for a vegan dish. We requested forks since I'm not great with chopsticks, but they unfortunately ran out. There were only three other patrons there on a Tuesday—how could they be out of forks? It took over 10 minutes for them to bring one, though the staff did apologize. It was a bit strange, but they were really nice about it!"

"This restaurant serves the worst sushi I have ever tasted. The fish is bland, the sushi is small and poor quality. If you enjoy crab sticks for $42, then this is the place for you. I ordered two pieces of unknown fish and it was awful and appeared dirty, as if it had been on the floor collecting sand. The first picture shows the unidentified fish in sand, while the second picture represents what you will receive for $42 (a combo of sushi and sashimi with a cucumber salad lacking cucumbers). The service was for takeout and the meal cost between $20-$30 per person. I would rate the food a 1, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 2. I would recommend trying the fish sashimi, salad, California roll, tuna, white tuna, and regular sushi."

"First of all I never used to go here but I decided to try it because of my co worker. I came in and ordered the rice entree with shrimp which was supposed to come with vegetables. It did not come with vegetables and my food was BLAND and THROWN togetherbecause they were about to close. Then on top of that they tried to suggest that my $50 bill was fake. When I confronted himabout it he said someone had came in with a fake $50 so he was trying to be real thorough and check it. The unprofessionalismspeaks volumes I even asked for extra sauce and he told me it was already in there but it was only one sauce. I will be postingthe picture below.
