"the rear terrace seat was beautiful and had also a few swings, which was a big roll for us with an autistic youth. the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. that is where they shine. there is a small handful of vegan options on the menu and we ended up with a vegan cheese plate, the beyond burger and a beet salad. all were fantastic. I had the burger 's rival before (the impossible) and thought it tasted like cafeteria eating, so I was comprehending to try that beyond. the beyond burger was perfect and I added the spicy cheese from the cheese plate. the burger comes with a 'bistro salad' and it was spring green, assorted tomaten, gurke and knock. we visited family in the opposite of outside the staates and whiskey alley was every 's favorite meal in this week."

"TAJ AIKEN is absolutely fantastic! The staff is consistently attentive and courteous, genuinely taking care of their guests. The food is simply DELICIOUS! They allow you to choose your level of spice, ensuring there’s something for everyone. If you’re considering a visit to TAJ AIKEN, do yourself a favor and GO! It will quickly become your favorite restaurant! I highly recommend the Garlic Naan, Mango Lassi, and Paneer – those are my top picks, but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! "The Wilcox was a wonderful place to experience the lovely town of Aiken with a southern charm ombiance. Comfortable rooms with excellent food and extremely friendly staff. The chocolate bundle dessert was so amazing! The lobby and restaurant area are so very comfortable and well appointed. The pool area was so relaxing with the waterfalls running in the pool. Wonderful landscaping around the hotel. Discovered the best clothing shop just steps away from it. Affordables Apparel was the best clothing store we visited. Thank you, Aiken, for a wonderful visit. Nearby activities: Great shopping in Aiken in general. Again, we loved Affordables Apparel within a few steps next door. Safety: Very safe neighborhood. Walkability: Easy walking to sites, shopping and other restaurants. Food drinks: The breakfast, dessert and coffee we had was very good. "The service was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was perfect for families. The food was delicious, with generous portion sizes. They offer a few vegan options, including avocado toast, which I think could be enhanced with a splash of lemon and a sprinkle of salt on the avocados. My daughter tried the cinnamon pancakes and absolutely loved them! She said they tasted just like cinnamon rolls, and she didn't even need to add syrup."

"First time to this particular location. Usually I go to the NA location but had the craving on a Monday so drove all the way to aiken for it. Loved some of the promotional menu items (I'll have to come back on a Tuesday for some BBQ taco) The gentleman behind the counter was very nice, brisket and pork bbq were amazing, and as always great baked beans. My only complaint was that my hash and rice was very bad, nothing like I've had at other locations. Hoping it was just an off day. All in all though, good experience."

"The decor was lovely, and the atmosphere along with the entertainment was enjoyable. The waitstaff was excellent, but the front-of-house staff could improve. Out of the three cocktails we ordered, two were incorrect. As for the food, it didn’t live up to expectations for most of our party. The steak was just average, and my Caprese salad, which oddly included prosciutto, was quite disappointing. Its presentation was unappealing, and I ordered a flatbread with chicken and bleu cheese that was mediocre at best—I couldn't even finish half of it. The dessert options were limited, but they were decent. By the time our coffee arrived, the desserts were already gone. Overall, it was meant to be a memorable birthday dinner, but unfortunately, our memories will center more around the food and drink disappointments."

"After a horrible experience being completely ignored at Romas next door, we walked over to AnShu and were warmly greeted and sat immediately, a waitress taking our drink orders promptly. As was the case with Romas, on this particular day, the air conditioning had gone down. However, the temperature in AnShu was tolerable with cold drinks. The inside of this restaurant is beautifully decorated, and everyone is exceptionally friendly. They can sometimes get very busy on the weekends, but today was not busy. When our drinks arrived, we were ready to order our appetizer and meals. We chose the edamame to start, which was delicious. My fiancé decided to get the red coconut curry with marinated tofu classic wok entree with white rice. I chose the ginger salmon with brown rice entree. Both were beyond delicious! The red coconut curry with marinated tofu was a pleasant level of spicy, according to my fiancé. The ginger salmon was some of the best I've ever had. Everything was so flavorful and perfectly paired with a mix of vegetables that complimented the protein flawlessly. Our server was wonderful and polite, very attentive, and never once did she make us feel like we were unwelcome. I apologize for being so terrible at names, or I would praise her personally! She had the most adorable koi fish earrings. (She also dealt with a table of four where a rude man made it out to be her fault that the air conditioning was not operating properly. This guy proceeded to only tip $5 after the whole table had entrees and wine. She handled this with grace and never once stopped being sweet and smiling! "Total disappointment. We were excited to try this restaurant based on the reviews but unfortunately our bite to eat turned into the three hour tour . It wasn 't actually 3 hours but after the hour and twenty minute mark waiting for our entrees we were ready to go. Our server unfortunately had a negative and unapologetic attitude and the manager was not much better. The only information given to why it was taking SO long was that they 're working on it . Once we did get our food after an hour and thirty minutes everything seemed like it had been sitting under the heat lamp for a long time. Nothing seemed fresh. The taste was fine but everything else was disappointing. Don 't dine here hungry or with a timeline in mind."

"I realized today while browsing the site that I never took the time to rate New Moon. What an oversight! I only lived in Aiken for about a year, but I can’t emphasize enough how significant New Moon was for me during that time. It quickly became my favorite coffee spot. It was a fantastic place to sit and get work done on weekends, and they had wonderful sandwiches and soups. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I honestly can’t think of a single negative. I miss it so much. While I don’t miss much about my time in Aiken—aside from Hitchcock Woods, friends, and relaxing outside New Moon enjoying the charming downtown—I’ve now moved to a much larger city (Charlotte) and haven’t found a place that truly captures what New Moon meant to me during my short time working at SRS. It’s a great spot."

Not forsure if it was bc it was busy in there and she didn't think I was gonna spend any money. I was very cordial. The other lady that help me before her was polite. And even after her having and attitude with me she let me know if I didn't tip her I could not order anything else to drink so I tipped her. "Interesting place. Ordered a Low Country Boil with added scallops and clams. All came out OK except the shrimp. We got the large shrimp, they must have been overcooked so they were very hard to peel, and they were NOT DEVEINED so there was a load of inedible stuff along the back side. It took forever to peel them and clean them at the table, only to get chewy shrimp. That will likely keep us from ordering that again, and it is unfortunately the only thing they offer cooked. On the other hand, the potatoes, clams, corn, and sausage were very good and the scallops were wonderful. I will have to investigate getting that boil without shrimp, or taking the pound of shrimp raw to clean and cook at home. Discount offered for cash purchases. Have to remember to bring cash for the couple percent discount."

"This is a low touch service restaurant. Order and pay at the counter as you come in, self service drinks, silverware and condiments. Seat yourself with a number and soon your food comes out by the server. Eat, bail viola. The level of disgust onthe face of the cashier when I chose to not tip in my card before ever sitting down was off-putting and frankly offensive.Tipping is a should do and should be comensurate with the service received. Happy to leave cash at then end and did. On too thefood. Barely edible, sausage biscuits and gravy tasted like uncooked flour. Pops hash browns both largely overcooked to blackand brown with no tenderness left, sitting in a pile of frying oil with over medium eggs that were hardly half done. End to endterrible. Will not return."

"Very sad to see what was a wonderful dinning establishment go down. They serve under cooked food and even when brought to the managers attention they dismissed it. The cook was upset we had something to say then in return he threw hot food from the grill onto my 6 year old. Took over 30 mins just to get someone to our grill where we sat and they were not busy at all!.. asked for water refills more then 4xs and never got a refill. I would of given them a 5 star not even a few months back now I wish there was a less the 1.. Only 1/2 the staff are masked and this used to be a wonderful place to be. Not sure of the changes being made but deff not worth eating or dinning here."

"The waitress never told us her name, but she was very pushy about the make a wish donation. Said that the kids are dying and that we need to donate, after we had already said no thanks. She spilled my water when she brought it to the table, went to get a napkin to wipe it up, and left the napkin on back of my seat next to my head. Every time we wanted something extra, she was like well that xxx about of dollars. Maam, I didn 't ask how much, I said can I have..... she responded by saying she only does that because doesn 't want to hear anybodys mouth when the check comes. It was kind of insulting. On a positive note, the food was fast and delicious."

"So we brought customers here for dinner. Was immediately told that there was a 45 minute wait for sushi due to only having one chef. Decided to go with something other than sushi. I then proceeded to eat my dinner backwards.I’ll explain. I ordered calamari as an app, side salad to start and the Asian stir fry for my entree. The stir fry came out first, the calamari when I was almost finished with the entree and could only chuckle when the salad hit after finishing both of those. Although discombobulated, the food was all good. Just seemed that the wait staff stayed behind and the kitchen was out of sync. I just hate when things obviously doesn’t go the way it should and not a single staff member addresses it. In an attempt to be fair, I will again say the food was good. I’d definitely order the stir fry again."

I know those oyster come frozen in a tub.When did you cook the brocolli, unless it came in frozen. You know when brocolli goes from bright green to brown. It been nuked to death, unless it was alreadly frozen. Thats pretty sad for $4.I dont know if you make the ranch dressing, but please dont dilute it, it has no flavor, when you go cheap. Have some standards as a cook.Dont be afraid to use some salt. It brings out the flavor in food. Make some love to the food, not just send it out.Also server needs to learn how to take criticism. You learn for your mistakes, not tell the customer, thats your opinon.Next time you mop the floor without a wet floor sign. My friend almost fell. You know what would have happened."
