"We were in Beatrice for just one night, to see a performance. I knew we'd have time for a nice dinner after we arrived, so I checked out our options on Yelp! This was one of two finalists. We drove by both, and chose 4one8. It turned out to be a great choice! I'm a Manhattan drinker, and I had to walk my drink over to the bar after it was delivered and ask for a little more sweet vermouth to be added (which he graciously did, and my second one was perfect), but otherwise everything was very good! I tried one of the specials a New York Strip steak. There was a slight misstep when it was delivered, in that I'd specifically explained to the server (a young guy who tried hard but didn't always get it right) that I don't like green beans, so please don't even deliver them on the plate. Well, guess what? Green beans. Sigh. The guy who delivered the plate (not our server) whisked it away graciously, and just a couple minutes later the plate was returned green bean free. So, bonus points for how well it was handled! Our dinners (fish and chips, a salmon salad, and the steak) were all very good. We lingered and had another drink and some dessert, then left for our show. Overall, it was a very nice place to spend an hour or so while visiting Beatrice. If we're back in town again for another performance, we'd definitely head here. Thanks to all involved for leaving us with a good impression!"
