"I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food is consistently fresh and packed with flavor. I highly recommend the spitfire lamb and the beef or chicken wrap; both are delicious in their own unique ways. Additionally, the lemon fries are always perfect and come with a fantastic sauce."

"If you 're near Belmont, I recommend swinging by this little Armenian market to check out the treasures inside. I was looking up parking for Praline just a few streets down and saw ELB on the map and was immediately intrigued, having never heard of a lamejun before. I wish I had some more time to peruse the aisles but we walked away with some goodies: a bag of dried green lentils, some grape leaves, a meat lamejun, and two boxes of baklava. The baklava were a hit at the party we brought them to, though, of the two kinds we purchased, I preferred the smaller, rolled up, bite sized version (I looked it up the finger baklava. Very apt! . The second were these massive squares, sliced diagonally in half maybe the ozel kara baklava? They had a generous spread of crushed pistachios, my favorite nut; my only complaint was they were a tad hard to eat and divide into smaller portions. Now that I think about it some more, the better way to eat these would be to pop them in the oven so the honey melts just a little.I thought the grape leaves were all right, maybe too much on the sour and garlicky side for me. My husband loved them. Lamejun looks like a cross between a pizza and a savory pancake, topped with a layer of ground meat, tomatoes, herbs. They have three kinds here the traditional meat, a chicken (lower in sodium and cholesterol, as promised on the box , and a vegetarian. We went with the meat. I brought it to a party as the perfect snack. All you need is a few minutes in the broiler or the oven so the edges get perfectly golden brown crispy. For a dozen of these babies, it was about $25. I should 've asked the nice lady at the cashier if these are freezable. On my list for next time: the eggplant dip and beet salad, as well as the other kinds of baklava and turnovers. Near the cashier is also quite the selection of feta. (I don 't understand another review calling the arrangement of the items like a garage sale. Everything was pretty neatly organized and resembled any other small specialty market. Parking: lots of street options in front of the store."

"Thank you so much to the Iron Gate staff for such a wonderful evening. My date and I had a nice time and a corner-table to have some privacy and catch up in conversation over dinner and celebrate a special occasion for the two of us. The chef specials we ordered.... her: Salmon, me: Petrale Sole, were both very good, as was the wine and dessert. The staff was very accommodating in seating us at 7pm (prior to our 7:30 reservation) and left us alone to chat after dinner with no feeling of being rushed... we really appreciated that. We were literally the last couple to leave the restaurant at 10pm. Thank you again for a memorable evening."

"2 of us arrived about 5:30 on Saturday evening without reservations, and were seated right away. Paid $3 for a bread basket, got drinks and calamari appetizer, my wife said she prefers my margaritas , but I enjoyed my IPA. The calamari was tender, tasty, and abundant. I ordered the manicotti, it was tasty, wife ordered the squid ink pasta with seafood, delicious. We also really liked the poached pear salad. 2nd time here in a week, we'll be back."

"Place was packed and had waiting list, but we were quickly set up and service was fast. We ordered maki combo with spicy tuna and comes with California rolls and cucumber rolls and chicken teriyaki. It was taste and fresh. This place feels warm and comfortable."

"I would love to give this place a 5-star rating overall, but there is a woman who occupies a table all day every day with her painting and 'art' work, which can be quite off-putting. Despite the fantastic staff, her rude and standoffish behavior makes me hesitant to return. She was hissing at me while I waited for my coffee and demanding space as if she deserved it more than others. It is frustrating to see someone taking up so much space and time while possibly not contributing much to support the business. I enjoy spending time at a coffee shop and connecting with my community, but this individual essentially has a mini 'art' gallery set up and is promoting her work while being impolite to regular customers and demanding space in a busy coffee shop. It seems she has only been here for around 9 months, but this behavior is extremely frustrating."

"This place has the best you can eat pizza buffet in the area. The hours for the buffet are Monday to Friday from 11 am to 22 pm and Wednesday from 17 am to 6 pm. They bring a nice selection of pizzas they also have a salad bar. They have 5 tvs for different games if needed and they also have a small space for special occasions. Staff are nice and helpful if necessary."

"This place is AMAZING. The portions are Generous, the flavours are perfect, I love their curries, especially SAAG is to die for. I have tried, Matar Paneer, Chilli potatoes, Mashroom Saag, chilli Paneer, Mattar Mashroom, Veg Biriyani and mu daughterloves their chicken Biriyani ALL 5 Star. The only thing that they need to work on is their Naans and Roti, Naan feel like theyare either Frozen ones or they need to fix their Dough recipe, the breads become sooooo hard and dry by the time we eat themwhen we order take out. Please please fix your breads too. Also their Medium is actually spicy and mild is too mild, so becareful when you order but I still love this place regardless."

"This is a great ice cream shop staffed mainly by young local kids. They even have a college fund tip jar with the logos of where the students are headed (or maybe currently attending, too! They have a wide variety of flavors and not always the same ones.I am allergic to chocolate and they have opened new ice cream containers to ensure there was no cross contamination from achocolate tub. I almost always get their ice cream, but most recently got their mango sorbet, it was fantastic. This is agreat local spot, there is always a line, but it moves quickly. They have set up some outdoor seating and there are some citybenches in front of the store as well so you can still sit and enjoy your ice cream or treat even though indoor seating iscurrently still not available."

"For the price the food was just okay. The crab cakes were a good but a little bready. They were served on corn and green beans that were bland and did not taste fresh. My daughter in law loved the fried chicken and mac and cheese. My daughter had shrimp and grits and was not impressed with the kale that was between the shrimp and grits. My son was please with his yellowfin tuna. Did not like the corn bread and honey but that could just be a personal preference of the kind of corn bread that was used. I like the concept of this restaurant : farm to table but for the price for 4 people 182 with tip I expect a little better food."

"The service at the restaurant was fantastic, the atmosphere was laid-back, and the restaurant was very clean. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations. I ordered the hash plate and found it to be extremely salty and overpriced. For $18.00, I expected more than just one egg, one piece of toast, and hash. My friend also received the hash plate and had to send it back due to its excessive saltiness. The restaurant replaced it with French toast, which she said was good, but the blueberries tasted like medicine."

"Hometown offers excellent food and friendly people, making it a great dining experience. The dishes are delicious, and the female manager is exceptionally nice and respectful. "Truthfully I was hyped up to eat here. The food looked good online and I've heard great things about this place. As soon as I step in the door it's just awkward. Definitely not the demographic of people I expected, but felt like I was out of place based on my appearance. The vibe aside, after being seated a lady dropped her cup on accident. The problem was not the cup, but her attitude about it. The lady looked annoyed, upset, and unsatisfied. It took a very VERY long time for us to be NOTICED. The server was nice, I think he was the saving grace. After ordering the food came out some what quick, and of course our order was wrong. After receiving the proper foods I was really hoping that this place had some positive side to it. I was wrong. For context we got the garlic truffle fries, a pepperoni burger, a directors cut mushroom burger, and onion rings. The fries, fresh, but I could not taste the truffle. The burger was a true disappointment. No one in the world can convince me that those patties are fresh. Unevenly cooked, tasted frozen, and had zero seasoning on the patties. I cannot stress this enough, very poor quality burger. The onion rings were also, not good. Again feels like they were sitting in a freezer for weeks. Mushy and flavorless. After finishing our food we sat there for quite some time until the check came. And sure enough when it did come, we were sitting there for again quite some time until we were able to pay. The total came out to over 65 dollars before tip. The price, quality, and service were well below expectations. For that money I can go 5 minutes down the road and get 4 burgers, fries, onion rings, and a shake that would actually be enjoyable."

"Just like others say...been by a thousand times...finally stopped in. Late Sat. morning breakfast. What a great choice. My granddaughter loves pancakes and they will sell you 1...its huge and delicious. Steak Tip Benny was out of this world. Hash omelette had good taste but was really sold up by our server...she was awesome...average hash at best. Grilled English was a nice touch. Biscuits and gravy ...very good. The best breakfast baked beans around. Service was great. Prices are good with large portions. All smiles and witty banter...our kinda place. Need to try lunch next. I will update."

"We really enjoy their onion rings and have had a great experience in the past when we ordered burgers. I would give the onion rings a 5-star rating, but the sandwiches only a 1-star rating! Today, there were three of us dining and two of us ordered the philly cheesesteak while the other ordered the pastrami. Unfortunately, we were all very disappointed. The sandwiches had very little meat, so all we could taste was the bun, mustard, and pickles (which was an odd choice for a philly cheesesteak). We highly recommend sticking to the burgers instead of ordering the sandwiches."
