"While he was ringing me up, he asked if I wanted bacon, to which I responded "yes," thinking nothing of it. I didn’t realize he had missed the rest of my order. I even left a tip, as I always do, using my card. I had some errands to run, so I didn’t check my order before leaving, which was my mistake. When I later discovered that my sandwich was incorrect, I promptly returned to have it made properly.
Upon my return, the same guy was still at the register. I informed him that my sandwich was wrong, and he asked if I had placed my order online. I told him no, he had taken my order. He then insisted it wasn’t his fault because I asked for bacon. I responded that my sandwich was supposed to come with bacon anyway. Instead of simply correcting my order, he wanted to argue that it wasn't his fault. All I wanted was for my sandwich to be made correctly; I didn’t care about the price difference, even though the wrong sandwich was more expensive. Frustrated, I just wanted my refund since I didn’t want to deal with this nonsense.
Eventually, he went to get my money back, and I also asked for my tip back. He told me that I couldn't get my tip back. After leaving the restaurant, I realized I hadn’t received the two cookies I purchased—they were in the bag with the wrong sandwich, which was now in the trash. I ended up going back to get my money for the cookies. After waiting for a while, I finally received my refund for them.
I've decided that I won’t be returning to this location again. I used to visit regularly and even recommended this place, but my recent experience was incredibly disappointing and frustrating."
