"Being vegan with a wheat allergy is…a bummer. I found this place on my way through Shreveport it’s pretty good. We were there for breakfast, and the options were sorely limited. Went with the BLT my hub got the avocado toast. The avocado toast was perfection, the BLT not so much. The faux bacon was shaved, toasted coconut, and while the color texture were on point, it was just overwhelmingly coconutty. I scraped off most of the coconut was left with a decent breakfast sandwich. The gluten free bread was amazeballs. Truly the best I’ve had. Knocked off a star bc they were out of coffee. Seriously? 10am someone needed to go pick up beans just hadn’t gotten around to it. Coffee’s important, especially at breakfast. The cafe itself is delightful clean, bright airy and the staff couldn’t be friendlier."

"Never ate here or had a desire to try. Upon arriving entering, the establishment was clean neat. A hostess met us at a hostess stand showed us to our seats. We were greeted by our waitress, Melissa, fairly quickly. She kindly asked for our drinks while giving us ample time to review the menu. She answered our questions while offering entrée suggestions. Brought us bread with oil herbs to get us started. Our food came out in order of appetizers, salad, main dish (some places bring everything out at once). Everything was delicious, my wife enjoyed her salmon covered in scallops. I had a ceaser salad as a side with main dish served with sautéed broccoli grilled shrimp that was lightly breaded. The sauce that came drizzled on top of my shrimp was zesty while the crumbs provided a nice texture as the grilled shrimp was cooked perfect. I ordered a John Cole, scoops of vanilla ice ream with roasted cinnamon rum pecans caramel drizzle, delicious but my spoon was bigger than the portions of ice cream. Overall, this was a excellent experience from our waitress, Melissa, to our last bite of dinner."

"I had never been to this location's before. When China Hot closed, I was looking toward finding another Chinese food home restaurant and ended up here. When I first walked in, a little boy behind the cashier's desk took my order. I thought that was so neat that they were starting the little boy off into working. He could not have been no older than 7 or 9. He handled my order and credit well. The service was quick; the food was OK, but I honestly felt like people (customers) were watching me. It's situated around other stores, like it's squeezed into a corner of it. I wouldn't come here during the night. __Aware of the name of the store. Just a typo. Been corrected."

"We just stopped drinking somewhere else before dinner, and we also got free chips and salsa. Mark, our bartender for the evening was so friendly and attentive, made us very welcome! "First. Delivery! I love delivery. Make my life so easy. The service was fast and the food was hot! They brought plates and napkins and the desired sauces to complete the meal. Now the food! Very good. I personally loved the shrimps egg rolls. And the fried rice was perfect. I'd make it very good. The portions are good. Each order of the shrimp two ways serves two adults. It was all very good. But my favorite is definitely the shrimp. All we ordered was from the Shrimp page of the menu. We were all impressed by how every dish had a distinctive taste... unlike some restaurants where everything tastes the same. I hope you have a happy new year and thank you for being there on a day where it would be impossible for me to cook."

"We arrived at the restaurant a little later than planned, and a little closer to closing time than I like. The wait staff were genuinely happy to seat us and had our drinks and chips/salsa on the table in no time. The head cook/chef actually came through the dining area checking on the remaining customers and took our order himself. He recommended the burrito supreme with green sauce and his recommendation was on point. Delicious!! This is one of my favorite places to have my man child take me to eat. Authentic Mexican food, great service, and great drinks."

"Open late, the ideal place to get a bite if you're getting out of work and everywhere else had long closed their kitchens. Or if you're just in the mood for something delicious. They have some great burgers and sandwiches. The appetizers are also very tasty, but not all of them are worth their price. If you like fried pickles and don't mind a lot of grease, then those are perfect. The alligator app is very tasty, but definitely not worth the price for the tiny portion they give. Personally my favorite dish is the buffalo chicken sandwich, it's massive enough to feed two people! Though I would recommend getting the sauce on the side, because they will utterly drown it in sauce otherwise. My only real complaints is that the kitchen seems to constantly forget to correctly prepare each entree'. The buffalo chicken sandwich will always be missing the ranch, and the hangover burger will always be missing the fries in the sandwich, and I have no idea why that is so consistently wrong. Even had a waitress argue with me that the hangover didn't come with fries on the sandwich, only as a side, and had to point it out on the menu that it was clearly listed there. Regardless, the food is well worth having to ask for them to bring out whatever they missed, and they're generally perfectly happy to do so!"

"We truly enjoyed celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary at Superior’s Steakhouse! We devoured those awesome crab cakes and ate every bite of our filets and potatoes and mac n cheese! It was just too good to stop! Our server was on top of things without being on top of us…exactly how I prefer it. Topping our wonderful meal with sparklers and cotton candy made the night even more special! Thanks Superior’s!"

"I 'm not exactly sure why we have never came here in the past, just never did, boy were we missing out. Parked in the rear of the building and came in the back door. On the way in, we were talking about never having been there. Well low and behold as soon as we sit down at our table the owner brings us a slice of strawberry pie. He says, I heard you have never been here before. Here 's a slice on me. And that 's when I knew I was in trouble. Let 's just say that it was a verylarge meal with more pie to follow. So, the meal started with a slice of strawberry icebox pie. Easily the best part. It was delicious. The rest of what we got was great as well. I got a burger and fries and the Mrs. got the hamburgersteak and mashed potatoes. After that we went ahead and got another slice to share. This time chocolate. Man, am I full! Well done Strawn 's!"

"Ki’ Mexico is an amazing establishment and has one of the best environments in Shreveport. My experience tonight was by far the worst experience I’ve had in a few years. Order and picked it up in a timely fashion. The young lady by the name Naomi took my order over the phone. When picking my order up, I trusted that it would be correct. They have never dropped the ball, but when I made it home, my order was totally incorrect. When calling back to ki’Mexico to notify them my order was incorrect. A young lady answered the phone. I asked to speak to a manager and they told me to hold on, but did not mute the phone. The young lady, that I am about 99% sure (Naomi) Used all kind of insulting words, accuse me of wanting free food etc. Naomi, came back to the phone and verified she was the one that took the order. I politely told her that I would like to speak to the manager. She gave me a hard time but finally got the manager involved. I expressed to the manager how upset I was about the insults and the language that was used towards me and on top of the wrong order. I got back into my vehicle and drove from Crosslake back to Ki’ Mexico to return the food. The owner and manager expressed their apologies deeply, and I do appreciate that. The owner and manager have Done a great job running this establishment and I hope in the future they are more selective about who they hire and how their employees treat their customers."

"During our trip to Louisiana, we had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic restaurant. I truly fell in love with the place! Beignets were hot and fresh. I will drive back to Shreveport just for those ?. The fried green tomatoes...?. The tomato relish stuff(not sure of the exact name)...?. Yummy yummy. The crab cakes were not all that. The inside was alright but I could not get past the breading. The Patron Margaritas... Oh yeah! The alligator was good too. Overall very happy with my visit. Would definitely go back Oh and the bathroom was clean."

"AMAZING! The food is amazing the atmosphere is even better. Parking lot to side of the building there are games for families and friends to play and hangout! Can never go wrong with a classic dog and onion rings with a side of their amazing rosemary and garlic fries!! DELICIOUS! They do have some weird hours so make sure they are open before you come this way. Update : Went back again we got the classic dog with ketchup and grilled onions, Chicago dog, and rosemary and garlic fries one with light garlic other with heavy garlic. They are very accommodating with request and changes. All the workers checked on us as well was helpful and this a very laid back atmosphere. Must go but check their hours or their Facebook website first before going."

"I went here last week and with my boyfriend and we were SO impressed! The restaurant is absolutely charming! They have lots of seating, and it has a homey feel. I adore the mismatched furniture and wall decorations. The cashier was friendly and polite. He answered all of our questions and recommended I try my pimento cheese sandwich on the homemade bun! I was wary at first, as I have always had it on a croissant or regular bread. He assured me I would not be disappointed. When my plate came out I noticed it was served with hamburger fixings! I have never had a pimento sandwich like that before, and so I tried it out with lettuce, pickles, and onions. Best sandwich ever! I can't believe I never tried it like that before. My boyfriends hamburger was cooked perfectly, and we loved the fries! I found the food to be light and filling all at the same time. The casino cake is delicious- not too sweet, but just right! I really enjoyed eating here, and my only complaint is that it isn't open every night- but hey, I can live with that! I hope to visit again sometime soon and try additional menu items. "Once a week we come here and order curbside pickup. My Father loves the whole Catfish so I also order something here to avoid going to two places. Today I ordered our usual at 7:10p.m. finally received at 7:39 per request when I called the order in for ketchup and hot sauce and of course utensils. When they finally brought out no ketchup, no hot sauce and no utensils in the bag. I asked the young lady as she was walking away could we please get condiments since none were placed in bag. almost 10 minutes later still no service I went into the restaurant and was rudely told by front cashier Jasmine went to get. I said can I get what I need please have been waiting for order now having to wait for utensils and condiments very rudely she smirked and turned her back. No matter how busy you may be personality and cordial behavior make up for an extended wait. I appreciate the good food here but several attendees need a lesson in customer service. It may be only $32.00 for our two meals but regardless of $32.00 or $300.00 spent try respecting your patrons not just select ones but all."

"This place has been on my radar for some time but it was never convenient to get to. On this day, I happened to be working in the area and seized the opportunity. First of all, this is a very nice place. It's not your typical overly colorful Mexican restaurant. It's a very classy place decked out in white. Service was excellent with very friendly and helpful staff. The chips salsa were brought out quickly along with my obligatory Mexican food drink of sweet tea with some lime. To tell you the level of service, every time they refilled my tea, they made sure I had more lime to go with it. I've rarely seen this level of service especially in a Mexican restaurant. In most places I get some lime with the initial glass but none for the refills. The chips were not typical and definitely tasted healthier than most. I love places that bring multiple salsas and El Cabo brings you both a red and a green salsa. A uniqueness to the salsas were they served warm much like the Pappasitos chain does. I thoroughly enjoyed the salsas. I would rank them some of the best in the Shreveport area. I ordered one of the enchilada lunch plates and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food is organic which you don't find in many Mexican joints. This place definitely has a foodie vibe to it and I can't wait to go back with my wife and try more dishes. It may become my top rated Mexican food in Shreveport but I need to try more of the menu first."
