"My fiancée and I chose to celebrate our third anniversary, and it also happened to be my parents' 50th birthday. We started with the Les Escargots and Crêpe au Crabe, followed by the Filet Crevettes for him and the Duo Gourmand for me. For dessert, we shared a delicious Grand Marnier Soufflé and Vanilla Crème Brûlée. The ambiance was lovely, the food was unforgettable, and the service was excellent. If I were to estimate the cost, I think it might have easily exceeded $200, especially if we had been a bit tipsy! But it was all worth it. At the end of the day, I would definitely say that if you're considering this little gem of a French restaurant, you should absolutely GO!"

"This dining experience was incredible! I had never tried sweet potato biscuits with apricot butter before, and they were undoubtedly the best I have ever had. The fish, scallops, and crab cakes were all delicious and perfectly cooked. The asiago mashed potatoes were also amazing. The service was impeccable, with seamless teamwork and a chef who was hands-on in both the front and back of the house. To top it all off, the evening ended with a unique surprise - Hector the Birthday chicken came to celebrate with me because it was my birthday. It was a fantastic finale to my celebration!"

"I stopped here while passing through and ordered the red curry. It was absolutely delicious! The vegetables were a bit greasy, but the addition of pineapple along with the tofu was a nice touch. The service was great, and everything was served right on time. The restaurant seemed quite busy with takeout orders, which shows that people really want to enjoy these meals, even during shutdowns. I only wish this place was closer to where I live!"

"I had never visited the food truck before, but after reading the reviews, I decided to place an order for pulled pork and grilled cabbage for our extended family reunion in Sandbridge. The flavors were rich and had just the right amount of spice. Everyone from various parts of the country absolutely loved it! The portions were generous, and we even finished off the leftovers the next day with tortilla chips. The grilled cabbage salad was a standout—it was so unique and delicious that none of us had tasted anything like it before. Suddenly, everyone was a fan of cabbage! The team at J.A.'s Bangin' Ribs BBQ was a pleasure to work with, and I've already received requests to order from them again for next year."

"I used the drive-thru to order ice cream for my family. When the lady handed me the ice cream, she didn't provide any lids, bags, or spoons. I had to ask for each item separately, and she seemed annoyed, practically tossing the bag at me as if I were a bother. Earlier, I had asked to sample a flavor, but she refused. "The Norfolk Hot Dog. Enough said. I am glad that I found them after their move. These are still the best dogs in Hampton Roads. You really need to go here. And the chili has a bit of a kick which tastes great. Go get one, you'll be happy. Great dogs. For a while it has been hard to find a Norfolk Hot Dog like Tony's had. But Kevin's was spot on. The chili had a small bite and was very tasty. Need a good dog? Go to Kevin's you'll be glad you did."

"On my birthday night, I visited Zoe's, a great restaurant. The doors opened, and the staff handed me my scepter and crown. I was led to my throne and fanned with tropical leaves by Madeleine, Chantel, Rebecca, and Jessica. The kitchen doors burst open, and Chef Sarah appeared, commanding silence. She presented me with the Chef's Table, and I enjoyed every dish. The next morning, I felt like I had a fantastic one-night stand - everything was amazing but never to be experienced again."

"This restaurant has a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. The food is extremely fresh and seasoned wonderfully. It is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the USA. Even after traveling around the United States, I always come back here. It truly is the best. I ate here on 5-6-22 and tried the Enchiladas Rancheras, which were very tasty. The staff has changed, with a new group of waitresses replacing the friendly male servers. The ladies are quieter but still very friendly. Despite the change in staff, the food remains delicious and the ambiance is still welcoming."

"We arrived and had an open table reservation. We’re told the reservation was not in the TuLu system . First flag ! We were seated 10 mins after arrival . We waited 15 mins to even be greeted by a server . Second red flag ! Now I say this because a Caucasia family of five were seated prior to us and given service even though they did not have a reservation. Myself and my sister are part of the minority and I noticed how every party who was Caucasian was catered too where as myself and others of color had to either wait or were told to wait and some even never received their order that they placed on the to go menu. Once our server arrived she was present and told us we arrived during a shift change . Not true ! As indicted priory a family of 5 was seated and ordered their food prior to us even though we waited 15 mins ! Majority Caucasian servers only saw three servers of color and they were Asian (2) and one African American ! The ambiance is gorgeous ! Food lack luster ! Pricing not worth it ! Only come here for selfies , a quick drink and GO spend your money where you are wanted and appreciated! It’s a hard no for me Marriott ! Do Better ! Where is the equity , diversity , inclusion ??? Where is the Marriott standard of excellence ? They even ran out of pizza !!! How do you run out of pizza ??"

"We were vacationing here and craving Mexican cuisine. Jose Tequila's did not disappoint! Let's keep it simple. There was no wait. There was a bunch of extremely helpful waiters. There was a bunch of good food! Everything was also incredibly clean and inviting. Their guacamole dip was enough to win me over. It was very fresh and delicious. Our food was prompt, hot, and tasty. "We have come to Isle of Capri for at least 10 years. While it is in a hotel facing the ocean you are nicely suprised by the transition to the restaurant via an elevator. The food is always top notch. The tableside fresh ceasar salad is made with the finest ingredients and is always perfection in every way. Service is warm and professional. There is a dress code that is very reasonable.. no swim attire, no baseball hats, etc. So chk on that before you go. Every entree we have had is delicious. We rate it as number 1 on the beach. Has a top floor view of beach. If you drive there they do have valet parking available."

"We hadn’t been back here since an anniversary dinner 2 years ago. After the last service and food, my wife had written it off the list. Now I remember why. It was packed, loud, chaotic and felt disorganized. We had an Open Table reservation at 7:30 and weren’t seated until 7:50. We asked our waitress about one of the appetizers and she obviously did not know what it entailed. We split an entree as we were not that hungry. For the money, thank God we did. The chicken was over cooked and dry, the potatoes were hash browns coated in butter and cheese. Needless to say, the pretzel bread was mainly my dinner. Come to Coopers Hawk for the wine, ditch the food. There’s a reason why, on a Saturday night, they had wide open reservation time slots. Unfortunately-remains off the list for us."

"My grandparents and parents have enjoyed this place for generations but the first time I was able to experience them was 7 years ago when my now husband, took me on our first date here. We've celebrated almost every anniversary dinner here, friends birthdays, and other special occasions but Last night, we celebrated our first wedding anniversary. The service is ALWAYS top notch and the food has never been short of incredible. We had the butterfly fried shrimp for an appetizer (as we always do). For the entrée my husband ordered a dinner special of Rockfish and succotash, and I ordered the Tomahawk with a twice baked potato. I completely didn't pay attention to the menu and had no idea it came with sides, nor did I realize just how big it would be. But for reference, my husband's plate is a normal size lol. While I absolutely didn't even eat a quarter of my plate, it was all phenomenal and it came home in a doggie bag. We also had the Key Lime Delight pie and a Kahlua Coffee Chocolate mouse pie which were also *muah chefs kiss*??? My ONLY request would be to bring back the homemade Strawberry Shortcake w/ vanilla ice cream that they used to make. It was truly THE BEST in the area and when my husband took me on our first date it was for dessert and drinks so it's a little sentimental to me too. But I will forever recommended this beautiful and long standing establishment!"

"I'm not some wanna be food critic, and rarely post reviews at all. This place has been a favorite of mine for years but tonight made me grab the phone. Oyster stew was one of the best dishes I've ever had. The paella is always fantastic, and authentic. But on a cold winter evening, the oyster stew brought it home. The French onion special also was nothing short of excellent. 5 stars is the absolute least I could do. Support this local gem, you'll be lucky you did. World class/5"

"I will preface this review by noting we are fairly discerning when it comes to Italian food. I will state the food was very good and we will definitely return for future meals. The same cannot be said for a few others who did not make the grade. First we had the Kalahari which was enough for 4 people and wa tender and not greasy. It was the best calamaribwe have had in years. My wife had the Shrimp Fradiavalo and in had the Chichen Portifino. Both were great. The decor is nothing to shout about but the food more than made up for it."

"Nice little cafe with a good selection of Mediterranean food. We were seated quickly and the rest of the service was fairly quick, even during a busy lunch time. We started with the hummus appetizer and then got two wraps which we split between us Chicken Tawook and Falafel (fried). Each of the wraps came with a small container of hummus and a pita wedge. Nothing fancy in presentation, just the wraps in a basket with the pita tucked underneath. We both preferred the chicken over the falafel. We will return and explore more of the menu"

"Me and my family have been regular customers here for over 6 years and it's such a disappointment what the quality and quantity of food has gone down to. Despite the raise in costs, they have yet to state that it's pretty much the entire menu. I posted thepicture of them stating the only menu items being affected. I ordered my usual Neptune platter that is $32. The plate was theequivalent to a platter at Captain D's. It had the usual sized piece of fish, two small tailed shrimp, 3 small scallops, 3 smalloyster rockefellers and one small crab cake that barely could be a portion. My side was the garlic steak fries and they weredeeply fried in old oil. Half of the food ordered was cold like the Mac n cheese, fries and shrimp. We were hungry so we kind ofdealt with it. Our waitress Dawn was great and immediately offered another side and did what she could, but being that thewaitress is carrying out the plates why would she still run it out looking like that. Like why would you bring food to a tableif you wouldn't eat it yourself. Besides that, the raw oysters were great as usual. Just be fair warned about paying fullprice for a little bit of food and not how it used to be. Despite telling the manager, she still defended that the smallportions have ALWAYS been this way. I told her the least she could do is notify everyone and list more than the little list theyhave up, because it's not accurate and it's misleading. You're better off at Captain George's paying a little more for betterquality and quantity of food."
