"Perfection ???? This place is amazing!! By far, the best Thai food I have experienced in the Westminster area. I ordered the Panang Curry and it was DELICIOUS and the prices are more than reasonable. One of the best I?ve ever had (and I?ve lived in somebigger cities like DC that are teaming with Thai restaurants). The lady who placed my order was very nice and very accommodatingwith my special instructions to add veggies and make it spicy but not too spicy. I will definitely be returning here to try moreitems or just to get my Panang Curry on repeat!! The place is also so cute to dine in. It had a big city vibe of authenticitybut it?s in small town USA. "After our original bakery fell through for our wedding desserts, we contacted The Dessert Stand. Not only were they incredibly responsive, but Brooke, one of the owners, was so incredibly kind to us during a stressful situation. With less than two months to find a new dessert, Brooke and her team were available for our wedding, and let me say, they DELIVERED. We chose to do the waffle bar for our desserts and chose four toppings (lemon curd, biscoff cookie spread, nutella, and cinnamon roll icing and cinnamon , and ordered a custom 8” s’mores cake for ourselves. We were able to budget the same amount of money we planned with the original bakery for desserts from The Dessert Stand, and that was also a huge selling point for us. Karla from the team delivered and set up our desserts, and I got to speak with her for a moment prior to her leaving, and she was also incredibly friendly and kind. We had RAVE reviews from our guests about the waffle bar and hardly had any left over at the end of the night. Our s’mores cake was fantastic, and it looked nearly identical to the inspo photos we sent to Brooke (I can’t wait to celebrate our anniversary so we can dig into it again! . Brooke and her team truly helped turn a very stressful situation into something we were so excited for, and we cannot recommend the team and The Dessert Stand Waffle Bar more highly. If you need desserts for any type of occasion, it’s more than worth giving them a call!"

"So I suppose it's up to the manager of a restaurant whether to replace a returned entree at no extra charge the customer for the uneaten food. Whatever the policy at Sakana (we didn't ask when we saw the item in question added to our bill, we didn't feel like getting into an argument), we still found the attitude of the server when my girlfriend didn't enjoy her spicy miso ramen to be unacceptable. Instead of simply offering a replacement when my girlfriend explained that she couldn't taste any miso in the broth, the lady server told us that the miso ramen tasted as intended and that adding more paste to the broth would make it too salty. It still didn't taste very good, but whatever. Fine. My gf orders the curry ramen instead. It's pretty decent, nothing to write home about. At the end of the meal, we get charged full price for the spicy miso even tho all she ate of it was the egg added at additional cost. Did not mention this before the bill came out. We probably would've moved on without complaint if we hadn't been talked down to when trying to replace the order or had the return policy more clearly explained to us. Will not be coming back due to this experience. I've been to better and more expensive restaurants that return and replace an entree, no questions asked, especially when -you didn't eat it-. I've had $50 steaks taken back without being charged, but you're gonna die on the hill of your watery $15 ramen? No thx. The food, for the most part, is okay. My tonkutsu ramen broth was acceptable, tho my pork was overcooked. My gf's replacement curry ramen was better than the spicy miso, but it was not great. It did have tasty fried chicken, but very few other ingredients besides noodles and spinach. She wasn't so into it. Where the cuisine shines is the sushi. The fish tastes like it's well sourced and is adequately competitive for the price range. We didn't love the ramen experience, but we were actually considering coming back just for the sushi before we saw that they'd charged us for the returned food. The shrimp shumai appetizer was tasty but a little skimpy on the portions, four tiny dumplings for $8 or $9. Ultimately, Sakana is worth going to if you just want sushi and don't mind a somewhat cramped and loud atmosphere during peak hours and a snooty attitude from the staff. "First time trying this spot. It was busy but the sushi bar seating was available, so we sat there. 1) The restaurant was very loud. 2) There was a noticeable difference in lighting for the restaurant and the sushi bar. The restaurant was dimly lit, the sushi bar was glaringly bright in contrast. This is because the chefs making the sushi shared the same lighting as the diners at the bar. We sat for quite a while before our server approached. She was nice and apologetic for the wait. We had Ichiban on draft, which is great. We tried the baked green mussels and were very disappointed. We love this appetizer but the one here just tasted like hot mayonnaise. Maybe it was an off night. I'd had enough of the noise and squinting under the bright lights so we paid and left. We're going to try again, during the day, and sit outside."

"I 've been following Anne 's cooking for a long time now. From the days when she cooked in New Saigon to Vietnamese Cafe, her cooking always brought me to her tables. She uses simple ingredients and magically turns them into flavor parties in your mouth. Anything I ordered tasted like it was cooked with love. It 's like going to your favorite Aunt 's house that you haven 't seen in a long time and she makes you all your favorite dishes. I don 't have a go to dish that I would recommend because all that I have ordered were top notch. But what I would recommend is trying her soft shell crab dish. It 's deep fried like the traditional way of cooking soft shell crabs, but her twist to it is the butter garlic sauce and onions that is added to it. If you love flavor then this will make you scream, More Daddy! Best thing about this restaurant is the service. I have always been warmly greeted and I always felt like I was at home. Service has always been top notch, even when they are busy. The restaurant is also very inviting and clean. I have always walked into a dining room that is clean, floors aren 't slippery, and most of all, the bathrooms are clean. This restaurant may not have a long list of dishes, but what they have will not disappoint anyone."

"Great food and highly recommend. We get it to go on busy weekends and always enjoy it. Sometimes we order it and then arrive at the pick up time just to be told that it will be another 30 minutes for two items. If we ordered something that isn’t in our to go bag, we sometimes get backlash by the host so we haven’t eaten here in awhile. "SO GOOD, I ALMOST WANT TO KEEP IT A SECRET!!! Ambience: 10 Food Quality: 10 Service: 10+ We arrived at about 6pm, to a half full Renatos. After meeting our waiter Roberto, (who, by the way has been there for 22yrs) and being sat on the great front patio area, we ordered the house chianti and several apps. The wine was fruity and paired well with their apps, (clams/stuffed mushrooms/antipasto salad/fried cheese) all of which appeared HANDMADE. All were amazing...And I was skeptical to start !! Roberto, made some fantastic suggestions, clearly showing off his knowledge of the food, the guests and his personal experience. I was thoroughly impressed with the way the staff all worked together like a well-oiled machine and provided service that was not only perfectly timed, but, made us feel like we were alone and yet catered to by a team of professionals. We had such a great dining experience, I was tempted to keep this little GEM a secret. But, in all honesty...everyone who loves Italian dish, pizza, and wine of many varieties...needs to stop in and try this place out. The best part was EVERY PART. I was both shocked and surprised at how they took great care of us. And I'm looking forward to frequenting this harbor of Great Food and Service, until I am able to try every dish."

"I just had dinner there, and it was fantastic! So much better than Mediterraneo! They had a Cioppino special, so I decided to try it, and it was pure bliss! The garlicky, wine-infused tomato broth filled with mussels and shrimp was incredible. I wanted more as soon as I finished! They obviously have the best pizza, and their chicken wings are amazing! The hot sauce is top-notch. You guys are the best! I used to work at Starbucks, so I've tasted a lot of great food! This place has authentic Italian cuisine and wonderful people!"

"This was our first time here, and we met friends who lived nearby. We sat outside in an open air seating area while it was a cool day it was comfortable with the sun shining. The beer menu had a variety of choices and in addition to standard size pours you can get small 4oz pours to create your own mini flight, which our friend did. We split a large pizza among us, along with a large !! pretzel and a bruschetta. The pizza was thin crust and very tasty, and the pretzel came with a mustard sauce and a cheese sauce with some kick to it all quite good. Definitely would go here again, if only to sample some of the other beers on the menu."

"My friends and I come to order pizza from Big Rob's pretty often and all the other times have been great but yesterday when I ordered through online and picked up my order, it was all wrong. So to start, i ordered the works and added pineapple, and wanted to sub the olives with jalapeños. They did sub the olives out but there were no pineapples.. but i got charged for the add on. I also got a gourmet pizza and added bacon. They called me after i put the order in and said they were out of bacon and asked if i wanted to change it to something else. I then asked the staff on the phone what toppings were on the pizza and they told me it was chicken and red onions so i asked to add mushrooms.. but when i checked the menu, it said the pizza came with mushrooms. So i ended up paying extra for an add on that was supposed to be on the pizza already.. On top of that, I ordered a Garlic bread with cheese and it was supposed to be to come with marinara, but instead, they gave me regular garlic bread and no marinara.. so I was overall very disappointed with this experience.. The food was still good though. i just hope they pay more attention to the order details next time.. My friends and I genuinely do enjoy the food there.. I honestly should've checked the order too before leaving"

"I'd share a photo if I could. My husband and I frequently get icecream but on 10/2/23 we weren't pleased. I got 2 scoops in a waffle cone and it was piled high and delicious. My husband got 2 scoops in a cup and I swear it looked like a kids cup. It definitely wasn't 2 scoops compared to mine. Plus it was flattened not even half full. We asked the young man if it was definitely 2 scoops and he responded yah and we said there's no way and he responded I can't do anything about it ."

It's truly disheartening to spend a significant amount of money on a meal only to be met with such rudeness and indifference. The combination of dry wings and lackluster customer service left me feeling unsatisfied both figuratively and literally. I had high hopes for SoCal Wings, but sadly, they failed to meet even the most basic standards. I strongly advise others to think twice before dining here, as there are certainly better options in the area. In summary, my visit to SoCal Wings in Westminster was extremely disappointing. "We went for Mother's Day dinner and the restaurant was busy, as expected. The food was good, but I gave it 2 stars because of the service. It seemed like they only had one server working, which was a management error. Our server (whose name we're not sure of) admitted to making a mistake with our order and offered to correct it, but then made a rude comment about the kitchen not being busy when we questioned him. Another mistake was made with our order when the wrong dishes were brought to our table. What really bothered us was that the server left the incorrect dishes on our table even after realizing the mistake. This goes against health code regulations and was very unprofessional. What if we had allergies? Not a good experience."

The light, creamy cheese sauce is beautifully balanced, allowing the flavors to shine without overwhelming the palate. Served with garlic toast for dipping, this dish offers a delightful pause, allowing your taste buds to reset and prepare for the next gastronomic adventure. The Pesto Shrimp and Scallop with linguine is another standout. The Pesto Genovese sauce serves as a light, creamy backdrop, accentuating the natural flavors of the perfectly cooked scallops and crunchy shrimp. It's a harmonious blend of ingredients that coalesce into a truly unforgettable dining experience. Lastly, their Fried Calamari with a spicy twist offered a sweet and spicy flavor profile that was interesting, albeit not my personal preference. Next time, I'll opt for the regular version to better suit my taste. "This is the place to go for dim-sum take, enormous value and great tasting. To be honest, the dimming sum would have been much better if we re-damped them before eating, but the food was solid, even as it is. $39.44 for the sum in my picture. Siu Mai, shrimps, shrimps, shrimps, phoenix feet, fried shrimp ball, egg tar and custard bee and a Thai tea float. Siu Mai was much plump, great texture and spices. Shrimp dumping and shrimp roll were all connected by the time we ate, but freshly without a doubt would have been smooth and big bounty texture (vs meal bad). The Phoenix feet is a good soybean flavor, not excessively salty, the texture was beautiful and soft. Fried shrimp ball was well fried and had a beautiful Bouncy texture. The eggcake was fantastic. The crust was flocky and tender, while the egg cartilage was not excessively sweet. The floor was a bit over, but I like it. We got the bullshit to give him a mouth and get the pussal out. But it was good! It had the obtained egg yolk mixed in the pumpkin, it was a little grainy, but I liked it. I am so over the crowd and the chaos that sits Dimm sum, my complaints here are strongly weighed by the fact that it takes out and it is delicious. Here at 12:30 on Wednesday, the parking is chaos, but there is a lot of parking when it is far from the grocery store. Recommend this place to satisfy the Dim Sum desire."

"The menu was refreshingly straightforward, offering a variety of delicious options. I began my meal with the appetizer: scallops wrapped in double bacon and drizzled with maple syrup. That set the stage for what turned out to be an amazing dinner. For my main course, I opted for a half rack of ribs and a crab cake – a combination I had never encountered before, but it was fantastic! I pulled a rib from the rack and tried it with my fingers, watching as the meat effortlessly fell apart on the plate. It was incredibly tender and practically melted in my mouth, complemented by the delightful crispy bits from the grill. The crab cake was wonderfully chunky; I’m not sure how they managed to keep it together! The fries were reminiscent of the ones from Thrashers, which I absolutely loved. I’ll definitely be returning. Just a heads up about the hot wings – if I could give them six stars, they’d truly deserve it!"
