"After multiple restaurants have shuffled through this location through the years, I was pretty hesitant to try classics when they first opened. I wish I wouldn't have waited! The prices are not bad for being right on the golf course, the chicken wings are probably some of the best I've ever had and the entrées are delicious! Where the majority of the restaurants in the area are the same stuff unloaded from a frozen foods truck, classics stands out with unique, fresher flavors. While some may be turned off by it being in the country club and across town from many, it is worth the drive if you are looking for a good meal and a drink. They seem to have a pretty consistent wait on the weekends so if you're in a rush or just don't feel like being in a crowd, call in a to go order. It's just as good and you can enjoy it in your own home!"

"Overall experience was average with some less than average service. Good quality was also just average. We were a party of 4 and prices were typical for two prime ribs, a filet, and a ribeye. Arrived at 715 pm and were seated quickly. Water was provided upon seating and drink orders were taken quickly. Our server proved the daily specials and the we didn't see him again for over 30 minutes. Finally ordered our meal and appetizers close to 8pm. Drinks were refilled twice before food arrived 10 minutes before closing at 9pm. Only three meals were delivered and they were ok; the ribeye was heavily charred and very thin for the over $30 price. It was cooked properly but the char made it very tough. The ribeyes were ok as well but also smaller than what you get at other similar prices regional restaurants None of the food was hot off the grill and had been sitting for at least 5-10 minutes before being brought out.. The fourth meal was delivered after another 15 minutes after being told it had to be recooked after being dropped. It was very hot and obviously fresh off the grill. It was a filet which should be able to be cut with minimal effort. It was also heavily charred and tough to cut with blackened bacon wrapping. It was cooked in the middle as ordered. Sides could use use more seasoning as all st the table had to add salt to the mashed potatoes and meat. Service from server was slow but manager/owner was attentive and did comp a free dessert due to the wait on the fourth meal. It was delivered to the table to go as requested since at this point it was after 930 and we had been there for over 2 hours. Long story short, atmosphere is good and prices are comparable to other similar type places but service is slow."

"We were in Beatrice for just one night, to see a performance. I knew we'd have time for a nice dinner after we arrived, so I checked out our options on Yelp! This was one of two finalists. We drove by both, and chose 4one8. It turned out to be a great choice! I'm a Manhattan drinker, and I had to walk my drink over to the bar after it was delivered and ask for a little more sweet vermouth to be added (which he graciously did, and my second one was perfect), but otherwise everything was very good! I tried one of the specials a New York Strip steak. There was a slight misstep when it was delivered, in that I'd specifically explained to the server (a young guy who tried hard but didn't always get it right) that I don't like green beans, so please don't even deliver them on the plate. Well, guess what? Green beans. Sigh. The guy who delivered the plate (not our server) whisked it away graciously, and just a couple minutes later the plate was returned green bean free. So, bonus points for how well it was handled! Our dinners (fish and chips, a salmon salad, and the steak) were all very good. We lingered and had another drink and some dessert, then left for our show. Overall, it was a very nice place to spend an hour or so while visiting Beatrice. If we're back in town again for another performance, we'd definitely head here. Thanks to all involved for leaving us with a good impression!"
