"We have been going to Flemings for 18 years as long as we 've lived near Richmond. We love it! The service during this visit was as personal and accommodating as always, but the food was way off so unusual. Our steaks arrived well done when we ordered medium rare quite a difference. The mushrooms were also seriously overcooked. The server took everything back immediately and delivered a new set that was cooked perfectly. After our meal, we ordered cappuccinos with dessert. They both arrived cold! Amazing since there were only about six other tables in the dining room. At the time, the server said, we 'll make it good. But when our bill came, we were charged the entire amount with not even a free dessert. Shame on us for not asking about it, but, frankly, we were so surprised. It 's such an expensive restaurant, I would expect something extra to make up for THREE embarrassing mistakes (steaks, mushrooms, and cappuccinos), especially when we ended up spending twice as much time on our dinner as we had expected. Luckily, the wine manager chatted with us for quite some time, which was very nice. I 'm sure we 'll be back again, but this was the first time we left with a bit of a negative feeling about how we were treated."

"Had an amazing lunch here yesterday. We ordered the ham and cheese sticks, the BLT, and a French dip. The ham and cheese sticks could had the potential to be comically terrible (so many places deep fry random things that shouldn’t be deep fried), but this was delicious and well done. The BLT tomatoes and lettuce seemed farm fresh. The bacon was crispy (as I prefer on a BLT) and the pickle was perfect. The French dip bread seemed homemade (or at least local). The meat could have been a bit more seasoned on its own, but with the jus, it held up so well. Highly recommend. Also, the vibe is so chill. May not be what all love, but I sure do. Service was laid back, but also attentive. Brought drink refills without asking. Will definitely be back."

"This is a great spot for brunch in the west end! Although I skipped the mimosas, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I went for the Thai Wrap, which was full of flavor even with just the vegetables, and I added a side of truffle fries. Trust me, the extra $1.50 for the truffle fries is totally worth it! I also sampled my sister's Veggie Bennie, which featured perfectly poached eggs—hard to find but done exceptionally well here. The atmosphere was relaxed and very much in tune with the RVA vibe. I'll definitely be back. Thanks, everyone!"

"I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant. The noodle stir fry with chicken and beef was perfectly seasoned and packed with protein. The drunken noodle was also delicious, and my son is planning to order the Thai hot dish next time. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"Used to love coming here regularly. My husband and I were barely greeted tonight by a hostess, as they were definitely busy (although I have seen busier). She sat us at a high top but we were told to grab a spot at the bar if one opened up. We were patient and understanding of the service being slow, the service industry being a big challenge in general. Finally jumped to a spot at the bar, the bartender rudely suggested we go find a waitress. Disappointed, won’t be back anymore."
