Fred's BQ House - Carta

Awesome dogs. I get the yellow jacket minus the ketchup. Just as good, probably better actually, as The Varsity. Haven't had the BBQ though. If you like chili dogs go here.

Best BBQ in Atlanta Area. Best stew in town. Very friendly service, and always happy faces when I come into Fred's. You have to come here for BBQ if you are in the Atlanta area.

This place is even better than the Varsity! I recommend ordering hot dogs, onion rings, and orange freezes just like you would at the Varsity, but trust me, it’s a superior experience. Ver carta

Fred's Bar B Q boasts the largest staff, and their food is undoubtedly the most delicious BBQ around. If you find yourself in town, I highly recommend giving it a try; you won’t be disappointed!

Came for the dogs, but left with the BBQ. I Make this pilgrimage about 2 times a year. Only thing that's changed is the price. Be nice to the bus lady ! She works for tips and cleans up your mess

I really wish I could get some food from Fred's BBQ right now. My wife introduced me to this place 12 years ago, and even though we now live in Florida, we always make it a point to stop by Fred's whenever we’re in the area.

Bbq pork was great with the slaw. Idk what this Brunswick stew is but would probably get a different side next time. Otherwise it was solid lunch and I wanted to get another plate! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20
