Bell Mell Tavern Pizza

The order was incorrect and the pizzas were quite disappointing. I might even say that two stars is a generous rating.

Bell Mell has been an institution in Port Clinton pizza for years. A couple of years ago they changed ownership and have maintained quality pizza making. Recently we ordered two pizzas and a couple other items for pick-up. When we got there one of our pizza had been given to someone else. They took care of us and we left very happy in the pizza was excellent as usual. For those of you who like the bar scene, they also have a nice establishment with both inside and outside seating.

Walked in with 3 of my friends and you could just feel the racism. 2 of them and I being people of color we walked in instantly being watched by everyone. Me and my friend tried to get drinks he?s 22 i?m 21 and the bartender had to verify our id?s with her boss and then asked us when they expired?. Nobody knows when there id expires nor does it matter. So she denied us service for not knowing she had an attitude with us the whole time for no reason when we were just tryna talk to. Couldn?t pay me to go back.

We stopped there for some drinks, as soon as my group of friends and I was with came in the bar the atmosphere changed. The customers were asking to close there tabs, staring, and just making rude comments. We play the jukebox bartender asked us to go to the other side because the music we were playing which was R&B was running her customers off. We are a group of black and white women that was trying to enjoy ourselves for the evening. Who knew in this day and age racism still be a problem.
