The staff were very friendly, and the food was truly excellent.

The lunch specials here are fantastic, and I'll definitely be returning. I only wish they had a public restroom so I could wash my hands before my meal.

If you're driving by, you might miss it. Tucked away between a truck stop and a casino, this restaurant serves outstanding food. It's one of those hidden treasures you stumble upon unexpectedly, and you'll definitely want to remember it because you'll love it so much. I give Cast Iron Cafe a full five stars!

You won't regret trying the shrimp Po'Boy at Cast Iron Cafe! It's absolutely fantastic! The French bread is fresh and chewy, with an excellent mix of spices. The crawfish Po'Boy and cheeseburgers were just as impressive! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. I give it a full 5 stars—definitely worth the drive to St. Gabriel/Sunshine, LA!

I had heard a lot about their brisket lunch, so yesterday, I went with four coworkers to try their lunch special. Unfortunately, the brisket lacked flavor and seasoning, leaving only a smoky taste. Today, I spoke with my coworkers, and we all ended up with stomach viruses last night. I called the restaurant to discuss this with the owner, but the lady I spoke to just apologized. This restaurant is fantastic! The customer service at the front counter is outstanding, and the owners are just as wonderful. The food is absolutely delicious. I ordered a brisket po' boy, and it was incredibly tasty. Not only that, but the presentation was impressive as well. I will definitely be returning; places and people like this truly make a difference in the food industry. I rate it a perfect 10 out of 10!

The restaurant has been closed for a month, yet their online ordering system remains active. I attempted to place an order last week, unaware of their closure, and I am still trying to get a refund. Unfortunately, Toast, the service they use for online orders and payments, doesn’t provide any way for customers to reach their customer service. Their FAQ suggests contacting the restaurant for issues, but that's quite difficult when the restaurant is no longer open. Price per person: $10–20.

I had my first experience at this restaurant today with my two teenage kids, who usually eat anything and everything. They both ordered cheeseburgers, fries, and drinks. They devoured the burgers but couldn't finish the fries. I had a shrimp po' boy, and it was so loaded with shrimp that I had to eat about 15 shrimp before I could even close the sandwich to take a bite. It was absolutely delicious! The food was served hot and fresh, and the service was quick. I will definitely be back to try more dishes in the near future. Highly recommend! Ver carta
