A cozy, homey, local basement bar located under Wonder Ballroom. Friendly staff. Excellent cocktails with little flowers. A lot of taxidermied animals; steer clear if that creeps you out.

I found Cliff’s during the start of the pandemic. The food, service, and ambiance are excellent. I enjoy food and drinks from here about once a week. The pork nachos and the chicken wings are two of my favorite dishes. This place is a must visit.

The food and service here is GREAT! I had whiskey sours, macaroni and cheese, steak tostada and the fried chicken sandwich. Everything is made from scratch, so it takes a little longer. Everything is so flavorful and delicious. I love having leftovers for a few days! Ver carta

We ordered some chicken sandwiches from here while we were at Wonder ballroom which is in the same building. They were absolutely awesome! A little sweet, a little spicy, perfectly fried, very filling and reasonably priced for late night Portland food. Would recommend and will return!

I am in awe of this place. Every single item on their menu is effing dynamite. The prices are great. And the portions are badass, which is rare in Portland. This is to say nothing about the staff: the owners, Sierra and her husband are super, super friendly and supportive. Charlie and the rest of the bartenders are excellent. At the Morcheeba show at Wonder Ballroom and ordered food from Cliff’s next door. I Am super satisfied with the deliciousness of my chicken sandwich. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly and was so delicious and juicy. I ordered it with added onions and pickles, and the flavor balance rocked my world. The onions were sliced super thin, l the thinnest I think I have ever seen and really complimented the sweetness of the maple flavors on the sandwich.
