"One of our “go to” locations when we come out to BI and decide to dine out. Have had the good fortune to have the same server “butterface” the last two times. Great service, friendly and followed up with great selection for food and drink. Personal favorite is the beet salad, should not pass it up if you like beets. The blackened salmon special was perfect as well along with the calamari appetizer and the chicken parmesan. Don’t miss the opportunity to dine at Kimberly’s"

"Favorite restaurant on the island for my partner and me for over 25 years. The food never disappoints and it’s worth going just to experience the warm bread and garlic butter. Similar to other restaurants on the island, service was disappointing. We were a table of 9 squeezed into a corner. We ordered drinks and food when we sat and never saw the waiter again. We would have liked to have ordered a second round of drinks or would have settled for water refills but couldn’t get anyone’s attention. We finally had to request, and received, water refills when we got the check. We ordered steaks, fish, and chicken but no knives were provided so we all shared the three butter knives still on the table. All in all, while the food was excellent, my party would rather have been at a restaurant with a view and better service while on vacation. We’ll be back next year but I won’t be bringing friends as none of them were impressed…"

"One of my favorite eating experiences on the island and otherwise! We were so happy with our meal that we bought the cook a drink. She should be celebrated!!! In the context of the island I didn't know how much the other places we died were short. Eli's staff treated us like old friends; no single smile felt compelled. They take care of the little things: The bathroom feels like entering a massage salon for dogs (everybody who has been there understands why), the sound-absorbing boards on the ceiling, even the hosts give potential guests very true answers to waiting times and suggestions, where they are taking a drink nearby in the meantime. All this the parsley on the right plate: the menu! This cook knows what she's doing. My partner is a cook, and here is what she had to say about it: she definitely studied somewhere, how the flavors mean that she really cares about the experience and KNOWS what she does! You have carefully the menu around ingredients that are seasonal and can be used in a variety of ways. I would be about 20 or less items over the entire menu, everyone prepared to the theme of the dish whether it is animal protein or cauliflower. I am vegetarian and I decided to dinate here because the separate Veg menu was actually interesting! Not only one beyond burger or salad; who designed this menu may eat vegetables! I ordered the Roasted Cauliflower and couldn't believe what I tasted. The dish was all kinds of vegetables on a bed of rice Fuccine, sitting in a sauce that I think is based on garlic, but not in an overwhelming way. My partner commented “that’s the best I have seen you eat this whole trip” that I answered “I don’t want to stop eating this!” I have never been in a restaurant that has been targeted for meat eaters and thought that a vegetarian dish was on the same level as the “Entrees” section of a menu. My partner ordered Steak and we both had the same experience – what a fairy! I think everyone should dinate here, but I push the groups that are a mixed bag of Veg, gluten-free, and carnivores to try Eli’s because they have delicious accommodation for everyone!"

"Located directly behind the Harborside Inn, Aldos is the perfect place to grab a specially coffee and delicious fresh baked treat. I highly recommend the assortment of stuffed croissants, both savory and sweet. The breakfast sandwiches are freshly made and hot. The bakery case is full of tempting goodies, cinnamon buns, eclairs, cakes and cookies. There is plenty of comfortable seating outdoors and some socially distanced spots inside. This is a great place to grab a quick delicious bite. Thanks to John for keeping our group of Moms, caffeinated and carbed up all weekend!"

"Came here the week over labor day and it was a laid back vibe which we loved! The food and service was good, until the end when I asked our server for a box. She came over with the to-go box and grabbed the other half of my burger WITH HER BARE HANDS and put it in my box for me. What the heck? Since when do you touch your customers food with your bare hands in front of them?! So gross. Needless to say I didn't eat the other half of my burger. Other than that I'd be back- just won't ask for my food to go for fear they'll touch it with their hands again"
