After a day waterfalls and caves collapsed. We arrived shortly before the lunch break, but the wait for food seemed a bit long. Food was pretty good, but nothing spectacular. Had some fun cocktails in our group. The free chips were delicious!! It is a beautiful place and the staff was friendly. We were surprised to walk from the charges for a container... have never experienced that.

The staff here are complete candy!!!! That was my second favorite place to eat in Hilo as we did 3 times. We showed up at 9:15 when they were closed at 930 (we didn't know) and they didn't hesitate to sit. We even asked to go, and they refused and welcomed us. I had the Prime Rib Dip twice!!! It's excellent! The onion rings and the French pommes are spectacular. I also had the Pasta Primavera and crab cakes we AMAZING. My wife also had both and a burger she loved. This is another MUST DO. I wish I could remember all server names. They were so helpful and opened us as if we were a family. I'll miss this place, but I'll always remember it. Thank you. Coconut Grill!!!!

This was a wonderful restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There eaten twice, breakfast and lunch, on two different days. Service was good and food came fast. Everything was fresh and had authentic Hawaiian flares. The Mauna Loa waffles had a Bavarian cream sandwich waffles with caramelized pineapple and Macadamia nuts. It was dying. Lunch was the Big Island Sliders and the taste was on point. Taro Buns with Kailua pig with Coleslaw and island BBQ sauce. For a welcome treat at breakfast they gave Banana bread and lunch there was BBQ chips with a wonderful diving sauce. The waiting staff was friendly and responded to refills and other needs.
