Wow. Perhaps the chef left. Way way over priced cafeteria food. Got a $45 and $42 entry and it tasted like high school cafeteria food. But the view was nice. Ver carta

The chef did an putstanding job with the whole fried red snapper; fresh, lightly seasoned, crispy and a perfect accompaniment of jasmine rice. Service from Thomas was above and beyond!

We had a great evening watching the sunset with great food. As also in the past happened, although we had a reservation through open table, no reservations could be found. After a while they gave us a beautiful table. Parking is complicated. Bring time to wait for one space. We’ll come back

"we wanted to cōste with my man for our jubilee. highlight our server was great and knowledgeable. the food was good, my snatch was too salty, but the problem was resolved immediately. recommend the brittle sprout app and lobster carbonara as well as the wrench cake dessert. at the bottom was my first glass wee at the bar, the bottle was opened for a past and the wine tasted old. another day and it would have been a weinstock. Perhaps the bartenders can check the wee before they pour?! overall was the experience positiw!"

"Wonderful place for a nice and pleasant dinner. We chose the restaurant for a family dinner. And despite the rainy weather we had a beautiful evening. Sitting on the window with a wonderful view of the bay and enjoying great food. We had the Chimichanga and the Coconut Shrimp and the kids had fish fingers and were totally happy. Beyond the food the place is really great and we had a very good service. The only difficult thing was the parking around. But this cannot change the great experience we had at the Matanzas."

"this is a nice quiet place for a larger restaurant. it compares with Denny's size, but a much more personal experience. the menus have a large selection of food. I notice on a plakat in the doorstep that they have 2 for 1 mixed drinks (not my thing, but yes, that seems like a good deal for those who drink. the waiting staff was great! They are the prices are somewhat lower than a place like Dennys. I recommend you to try! my wife loved her texas texas omelette with a side of cookies and gravy and I got the 3rd pfund burger, which is a legitimate 3rd pfund burger. also the marine bohnensuppe tried, which was excellent!"

"We had the bacon wrapped shrimp, scallops, and stuffed button mushrooms for appetizers. For dinner, we shared a couple snow crab buckets and had the coconut shrimp, grouper sandwich, and scallops with potatoes and broccoli. We also had a dozen oysters on the half shell and they were very good. This was a 4.25-4.5 type rating place in my opinion, but the service was good, the atmosphere was fun, and they were open Christmas Eve.... so 5 out of 5 for us. I would recommend Smokin’ Oyster Brewery for consideration the next time you’re on the northern end of Estero for sure."

"we had lunch here on Saturday evening with our two young (ages 12 and 14). the restaurant was quiet but not exaggerated. we sat outside, which was a really nice opportunity to take some of the local scene. sergio, our waiter, was attentive and knowledgeable, although it seemed like he had many tables. my man had the grouping tacos that were amazing. I don't like fish and that was amazing. our table also ordered garnel, salad and chicken wings, all very tasty. they had a decent beer selection and the margarita I had was good. we would definitely come back. updated to add: we came back a second day and eating was just as delicious. by far was the best eating on the island during our trip. alicia was our waitress on the second day and was as attentive and friendly as sergio. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough."
