"Mallards and Chef Johnny Mo were incredible. We went for our 18th anniversary and I had emailed ahead and asked for a special request that meant the world to my wife and the Chef absolutely delivered creating a custom appetizer for us and then delivering a 4 course meal for two that was amazing. They saved the table overlooking the wharf and Lynn made our service and night as perfect as we could of hoped. The entire staff were friendly and welcoming and we enjoyed every bite of dinner. I would highly recommend Johnny Mo's specialty, his crab cakes, the beef medallions melted in your mouth and the key lime 7 layer cake was something I've never had before and would drive 2 hours to eat again!"

"My husband I were recently vacationing in Onancock, Va. We wanted to try Blarney Stone Pub. It was on a Tuesday night, and not very busy, so we were seated immediately, given option of inside or outside. We chose outside. We were going to eat light, since we'd had a large lunch. We both ordered salads, as it turns out they didn't have all ingredients for salad my husband ordered, so they let him order something else free of charge!. They were so apologetic. Our salads were delicious, we even ordered ice cream for dessert. It was a very relaxing evening."

"I tried this restaurant for the first time and had a fantastic experience. As soon as I approached the counter, two friendly ladies helped me place my order, and my meal was ready by the time I reached the end of the counter. The chicken was served hot and had a wonderfully crispy skin. The coleslaw was superb, and the mashed potatoes with gravy were delicious as well. I was also pleasantly surprised by the biscuit—it was light, fluffy, and just had the right amount of salt. This is certainly a fantastic place for a tasty chicken meal!"

"Food was great, but a little pricey. Waitress was nice in the beginning, but when we had a question about our bill in the end, because of her handwriting, she got nasty. The lady at the counter was even confused about how she got the total. She (thewaitress) even continued to talk about us after she had left the counter complaining about us. We where offended by the way sheacted, especially when we wanted to make sure we gave her a fair tip. As a waitress myself, I understand if you have bad a badday, but this was just down right nasty and embarrassing. The bathrooms where disgusting and it smelled musty. The bill ended upbeing so high because they charged us almost $4 a drink, for juice. The only good thing about this place was the taste of thefood."
