Sandwiches for lunch are great. I highly recommend for lunch. As a coffee shop bakery, I'd assume their breakfast is good, but I always go for lunch.

I had an excellent experience at Prior Lake! I absolutely love all their pastries. However, the coffee was just average. I tried their bestselling cinnamon rolls, but I still prefer the cheese Danish.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Edelweiss since it first opened. Originally run by the lovely Mark and Julie, it has now been taken over by another wonderful couple, Laurie and Joe. This bakery is truly a local gem, offering delights such as macarons and maple-bacon long johns. I dined at this restaurant two weeks ago with a friend for a delightful happy hour. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, particularly as the night approaches. We arrived at 5:00, and it filled up quickly. We savored a few glasses of wine and tried one of their boards. While there were many tempting desserts and pastries on display, we chose to stick to the board. It was definitely more than enough for 3 to 4 people, so it ended up being far too much for just the two of us.

Nothing short of amazing! My Mom ordered these custom ?bride? and ?groom? 8 in. rounds and an additional two square cakes for our wedding shower. I picked them up on an extremely busy day (Saturday) while there was a market going on that morning. Theline was out the door and nearly on the street. I had no idea this place was so popular! The staff was incredibly helpful to usgetting all four (4) cakes for our event that afternoon with clear instructions to make sure they stayed in great conditionbeforehand. Our friends and family just LOVED them. The flavor pairings are incredible and the cake itself is so moist. Wecouldn?t be happier beautifully decorated. I even have froze part of the cake...

Having grown up nearby, I've been a regular at Edelweiss for nineteen years, and I've never been let down. That's not an exaggeration. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting, the staff are consistently friendly, and the food is always delightful. When it comes to food, I can't think of a better spot for pastries, breakfast sandwiches, or even birthday cakes. I make sure to get their strawberry Chantilly cake every year. If you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend the caramel rolls, danishes, skillet Joe's sandwiches, quiches, and cupcakes, to name just a few.
