"We have been to Elevation once, and that was for coffee and dessert after a long day of sightseeing along the Little River Canyon National Park, which is worthwhile, btw.The place is cozy and a bit quaint. It is next door to an art gallery. It has outdoor seating, some of which is under a sail awning and which looks across a small parking lot to a bronze bust of Sequoyah, an Indian notable who developed the first system of writing the Cherokee language called a syllabary (symbols each representing a syllable . Enough about the surrounds.I had the Bittersweet Brownie with house-made ice cream and nuts. Ohhhhhh. To die for if you 're a chocolate lover. How it got 'bittersweet ' in its name, I don 't know because there was no bitter taste at all. Now, it wasn 't overly sweet, either, It was just right. The coffee, however, was bitter. Strong and bitter. I added cream and stevia, but it didn 't phase that bitterness at all. (They don 't serve Splenda or the equivalent. . Maybe if I had added real sugar it would have made a difference, but I didn 't.The wife had the Apple Pudding with the ice cream. She raved and I must agree that it was very good and tasted of apples. Nice texture. Both of these items were expensive, around $12 or so each. Check the menu, but this is in the ballpark. Still, we 'd both do it again. The service was prompt, pleasant, and competent. We tipped well. The wife and I plan to go back there, a 90-minute drive, for a full supper meal. This small taste of the place has us wanting more."
