I dined at this restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Chinese food, which exceeded my expectations for Northern Michigan. If you're looking for their menu, you can find it in one of the local phone books on the Leelanau side.

The restaurant has recently undergone a complete makeover. The takeout orders were delivered promptly. The food was delicious and served in generous portions. The staff was extremely friendly and appreciative of our patronage. We definitely plan on returning in the future.

The odors are rude. They use children to take orders who don't get them down correctly and then when you try to explain that's not what you ordered when you get your delivery or pick up they tell you you're wrong and to correct they charge you more for their mistake. My excitement to dine at this restaurant was quickly dashed by the disappointing quality and taste of the food. Despite the deceiving pictures, the Pad Thai and Saigon noodles were mushy and oddly flavored, causing us to refuse to eat them. The Broccoli beef was passable, but the portion size was disappointingly small. We hesitated to complain, assuming that our expectations for Asian cuisine were too high for Northern Michigan. The only positive aspect of our experience was the excellent service provided by the server.

After moving here 5 years ago, we have been on the lookout for a good Chinese restaurant and today marked our second visit to this place in the last week. Our previous experience before the new owners was just okay, but this time around, the meals we had were amazing. The chicken was fantastic, the sauce on the dishes was delicious, and the vegetables were fresh. The fried rice was also really good. In fact, this is some of the best Chinese food I've ever had. The owners were very nice and provided great service. This will definitely become our go-to spot from now on.

I used to frequently visit this area for vacations before COVID because I have family here, but it has been a couple of years since my last visit. Unfortunately, the previous owners of Hang On are no longer there, and they have taken the charm of the restaurant with them. I went in with high hopes, but everything was disappointing. The Hot N Sour soup had a strange taste like feet. The Pad Thai noodles were limp and lacking in flavor. The Almond Boneless chicken gravy seemed old and reheated multiple times, resembling a gray clumpy substance that should be flushed down the toilet.
