Clean place, nice waitstaff and cozy booths. I loved their decor too. ? Trust me when I say you have to try the Build your own Chicken Sandwich and the onion rings. You won 't regret it. ?

Service was excellent but the food was sub par at best. Salad did not have cheese like it shows in pictures and the baked potato didn't come w bacon even though it also shows it w bacon. We had the ribeye tips w onions and mushrooms and the flavor of that was the best part. I hate when places skimp on ingredients but still charge a pretty price for the item. $5.99 for a fully loaded potato is worth it when it actually comes fully loaded! I will not be returning to this place due to lack of value!

Our 1st time there, pretty disappointing. The dirty rice was dry, the second batch was dry, the 3rd attempt was edible. The hush puppies tasted like they were soaked in grease and left they to soak up the grease, I couldn't eat them. The cat fish was delicious and juicy, just like I like it. The tartar sauce was not good, it didn't have much flavor besides the flavor of mayonnaise. The iced tea..... wow, what a failure!!! Who screws up on making iced tea, unless it was fountain tea, which it may very well been because it was all water, no flavor, not sweet at all. There are advertisements, catchy slogans, and amusing license plates—plenty to take in while you wait for your food. I ordered the lunch special of chicken fried steak for $13.99. They offer four different sizes of chicken fried steak, varying in size and meat quality. The $13.99 option doesn’t use Nolan Ryan beef, but reportedly, you can’t really tell the difference. The three larger sizes do use the premium beef, with the largest, a Texas-sized chicken fried steak, said to weigh 10 oz.
