Huckleberry's Breakfast And Lunch

I ordered this for my wife, and it was amazing! The biscuit was incredibly soft and fluffy, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the sausage was just right. The red potatoes were a delightful addition, and there was enough food to nearly make it two meals.

The food was fantastic, but the service was only okay. For lunch, the cost per person was about $10–20. Here’s my rating: Food: 5, Service: 3, Atmosphere: 5. I definitely recommend trying the Burger, Southern Fish Chips, Big Cheesy Hamburger, and Fried Okra with Spicy Ranch dip.

Overall, the meal was outstanding and full of freshness. The corned beef hash and eggs were cooked to perfection, and the hash browns were just right. The fresh fruit addition was a delightful touch! My only recommendation would be that the biscuit and gravy could use a little more gravy. I’ll definitely ask for extra next time.

When this restaurant first opened, I tried the same dish and was quite let down. There was barely any hollandaise sauce, the crab cakes were undercooked, and the poached eggs were overdone. However, they have made fantastic improvements! Now, there's plenty of hollandaise, the crab cakes are cooked perfectly, and the poached eggs are wonderfully runny. A big shoutout to the kitchen staff for their excellent work!

I previously ordered from this restaurant via DoorDash and had a mostly good experience. The biscuits were definitely a standout and worthy of 5 stars; however, I noticed there wasn't as much gravy as depicted in the photos. Furthermore, the crab eggs Benedict came with a rather small portion of potatoes, and the avocado seemed a bit overripe. I think it might be better to dine in next time instead of opting for delivery.

The food here is quite disappointing. It would be wonderful if they updated the menu and reintroduced some of the dishes from the Perkos days. The bacon is overly thin and unappetizing, and their coffee is the worst I've ever had. On the brighter side, the service is attentive and without any problems. However, the prices are quite steep for the quality of food provided. Overall, I would give this restaurant a rating of 2 stars. Ver carta
