Ordered the grilled pork banh mi. pork was burnt which ruined the flavor of the meat. the bread was fine and veggies okay. but no jalapenos so no flavor to the sandwich. order comes with french fries, which was light on portion size. probably won't try again.

The food is decent, and the service is attentive. Prices are on the higher side, but that’s to be expected given the location. Speaking of the location, I noticed a number of homeless individuals in the area, which made me feel a bit uneasy. I saw one man behaving oddly, and it affected my overall comfort during the visit. Because of this concern, I have to lower my rating.

The food was outstanding! The owner is a really nice guy, and we had a great conversation since I was sitting near him. I ordered soup with meatballs, beef brisket, and beef strips, and it was absolutely delicious! The portion was gigantic—I could only finish half of it! It was definitely worth the $18.50 I spent, including tax. Plus, there's free parking available at the back of the building! Ver carta

I 've ordered from this restaurant before though tonight was my first time ordering the vegetarian rice plate. When I received the delivery and opened the container I was taken aback at the burnt food in-front of me. When I called the restaurant I was told that they served it 'charred ' which is nowhere in the food description but alas, this was inedible. You can judge for yourself by the photo.

I love having this local Vietnamese restaurant nearby. They've always have been consistently good, service as well as food. My son, who is a picky eater, loves the chicken phó with no chicken. Inside the restaurant, it's minimalist, but comfortable. Comparing to Vietnamese restaurants in Chinatown, I would say it is more for Western palette, it's less spicy and not heavy on fish sauce. I prefer more authentic rice paper egg rolls, more fish sauce, would love it if they had chili oil, but this place is still good for sure. The grilled chicken is delicious!

My wife and I have dined here around ten times, mostly for lunch, and once for dinner. Not once have we encountered any staff with a bad attitude or rudeness, which includes those working behind the counter. I've seen reviews that say the food isn’t “real” Vietnamese, but my wife and I can confidently say the food is genuinely good. We particularly enjoy the chicken pho; it’s healthy and full of flavor. For those looking for something heartier, the pork chop is both tasty and tender. I've tried pho at various Vietnamese restaurants, and I believe pho is pho, whether you find it in Beverly Hills, Los Feliz, or homemade. Rice noodles are the same everywhere, as are the other simple ingredient... Ver carta
