"I remember coming to the island 2 days after Helene hit. Everything was devastated. Nothing open. No water anywhere. I'm from Indianapolis so not used to this type of thing. I was questioning why rebuild? Day 3 I come to the island to help where I could help. I saw a table out in front of this building. Coffee ready to serve for free for anyone on the island. I was immediately touched at my soul level. As a painter I'm passionate about being there for others. Seeing Ben doing just that. Having coffee out and ready to serve showed me exactly why you clean up and rebuild. Seeing Ben's passion for coffee and being there for others made me fall in love with this island and the people on this island. Thank you Ben! This is my favorite place in the island. The vibe is it. Coffee is roasted local and the flavor stands out... GET HERE!!! It's worth a trip just for breakfast and coffee. You won't regret coming here."

"Hands down, this has always been my favorite seafood restaurant in Cedar Key for many years. The owner has done a fantastic job thinking outside the box and adapting to an unfortunate situation. There is something to be said about those with great human spirit that have the grit, determination, and moxy to reinvent the wheel when needed to deliver what people know, want, and love. Thank you for delivering on our recent visit post Helene, Dockside Fire, and Milton. I can't wait to see what comes next!!!"

"Easy solid four for a deliciously respectable **** Mary and some excellent conch fritters. Just yumnn. Chowder was heavy on the tomato but some people like it that way and was easy enough to tweak with some Old Bay and Tabasco. Not bad. Was especially nice they were so quiet we were the only cover upstairs which sort of felt like we rented the place for ourselves. Super helpful friendly service."

"We were initially disappointed we arrived after they stopped serving breakfast. However, it turned out to be the best decision! Ashley 's suggestion of an egg on their hamburger was an excellent choice. The food is amazing: hot, fresh, made to order. The small hamburger was more than enough. The cheesy grits were excellent and perfect amount of cheesy. My friend loved the hot fries and fried pickles. They were out of mimosas, but they have a full bar. The drinks were refreshing and better than a mimosa. The homemade key lime pie was phenomenal!!! Seriously one of the best I have ever had. Absolutely one of the best places to eat on the island. Low key and perfect. The outdoor seating offers 6 large tables with fans at each table and an outdoor deck option for bringing the furry family. If you 're not eating outside, why are you on an island?"

"I absolutely adore this restaurant! The atmosphere, the extensive wine selection, and the European-inspired dishes such as duck, escargot, and delicious French onion soup are all fantastic. The seafood is also amazing. It had been about a decade since my last visit, and I was thrilled to see that it was still open and maintaining its excellent quality - even during the early days of the pandemic."
