"My wife and I visited this restaurant after spending a week at Baldhead Island on September 17, 2022. We had just disembarked from the ferry and wanted to skip the wait for a table in town. I ordered a French toast sandwich filled with bacon, egg, and cheddar cheese, and I was delighted by how delicious it was. The service was exceptional, and we even had the pleasure of meeting the owners of this wonderful family-run business. They offer a fantastic selection of homemade cheesecakes, in addition to great overall food. This is an excellent place to dine, especially if you're traveling to or from Baldhead Island by ferry. Don’t miss it—it’s sure to make your commute to the island much more enjoyable. Carl and Ruth Deaton."

Island Times Cafe offers exceptional food and wonderful staff. Whenever I visit Bald Head Island, I always make sure to stop by this restaurant for a quick bite. Their dessert menu is simply incredible!

The staff here are incredibly friendly, and my strawberry banana smoothie is perfect! The bathrooms are clean, and there's a spacious seating area with comfortable chairs. Plus, the view while I wait is fantastic! I could definitely get used to this!

Our hotel in Southport, N.C., near the ferry terminal, didn’t have an on-site restaurant. During a day trip to Bald Head Island, we stopped for a quick breakfast at Island Times Cafe near the Southport ferry departure. My wife and I enjoyed breakfast sandwiches that were delicious. I had a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant that was absolutely perfect. The order arrived quickly, the sandwiches were hot and generously sized, and it came with a small bottle of orange juice. It was the perfect way to start the day.

Island Times Cafe is a must-visit spot, whether you're a tourist or a local! The menu features fantastic dishes with generous portions. Guests can enjoy up to two hours of free parking in the nearby lots (though it's good to confirm). Breakfast is available all day, and the lunch menu is outstanding—especially the crab cakes, which are simply delicious! The cafe also offers a great variety of adult beverages, decadent desserts, a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly staff. We’re definitely fans—be sure to stop by! Ver carta
