I had an amazing half-pound of brisket—perfectly tender, flavorful, and wonderfully textured. I also sampled my friend's burnt ends, which were equally delicious. Edgar at the front greeted us with a warm welcome. I highly recommend making a trip here! Ver carta

The food was genuinely excellent. We ordered the tacos, burnt ends, and nachos, and everything was delicious. The sides that came with the burnt ends—chili and house pickles—were fantastic. Plus, the wait time was minimal. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Solid food every time I come here and very fair portions. Everything is flavored perfectly. It's not a sit down restaurant vibe but the food more than makes up for it and honestly I enjoy the casual vibe. It's a small place but they have the next door restaurant just for seating ao definitely check that out

Overpriced and underseasoned. This restaurant was highly recommended. We spent almost $100 on a slab of ribs and brisket. The brisket was very dry and had very little seasoning. The portion was also extremely small for the price. The ribs were 70% bone and barely had any meat. The “cream” slaw almost seemed as if it had just come out of a bag. I discovered this restaurant on a TV show in Israel and decided I had to try it. It took me an hour to get there from Manhattan, involving the subway and some walking, but sadly, it did not live up to my expectations. I ordered the brisket sandwich, and the meat was dry and lacked flavor, drowning in ketchup. The fries tasted like they came from McDonald's. Overall, it was a huge disappointment.

This place is BEYOND amazing. We don’t live in Brooklyn. We never go to Brooklyn. Because of traffic, parking, congestion, we avoid Brooklyn at all costs. But we heard so much about Izzy’s that we had to try it!! It was 10000% worth the trip. Literally everything we ordered was amazing. We ordered and shared: empanadas, brisket egg rolls, Korean BBQ chicken, wings, a chimichanga, and a grilled chicken sandwich. WOW!!!!

I decided to come here for lunch and order the fried chicken sandwich to-go; It was my first time coming here and I read so many great reviews and the food looked amazing online. I was very disappointed at what I seen when I opened my meal I am not sure what was going on that day but It was very disturbing to look at, I couldn’t help but to think are they really cooking the food in the kitchen. I just wanted to advise anyone to be careful when ordering at this establishment. Ver carta
