"We’ve had two disappointing dinner experiences at this restaurant, and last night was the worst. We both ordered teriyaki chicken and paid extra for fried rice instead of brown rice. What we received was a thin layer of fried rice on the bottom topped with brown rice, both of which were mushy, soft, and overly wet. My dish had a large area and a small section filled with the rice, leaving very little chicken. The small section contained what seemed like wet, mushy vegetables or some limp salad; I think I spotted a piece of carrot, but the rest was just green mush. The other meal had all three compartments—one large and two small—filled with the same soggy rice and very little chicken. The few pieces of chicken we did get lacked any real teriyaki flavor. This was the worst takeout I have ever had, and I felt compelled to share my feedback. I even called the restaurant to express my disappointment. I will not be ordering from here again; we essentially wasted our money on subpar food."

They have the best sweet and sour chicken bowl. Their bubble tea is alright the tapioca is cold and stuck together other than that there good. The ladies that work at the front are so nice and helpful. I strongly recommend this place all around.

Everything was amazing! All the food was fresh and had the perfect crispiness. The sauces paired wonderfully with my meal, and the rice was cooked just right. I absolutely loved it. There's a wide variety on the menu, making it easy for everyone in the family to find something they enjoy. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant is consistently clean and tidy. Great food and excellent service!

We frequently visit Joa and believe they offer the best teriyaki in downtown Everett. The staff is always quick and friendly, ensuring our orders are accurate. We've tried multiple dishes and have enjoyed everything we've ordered. Since we still take COVID precautions seriously, we appreciate the option to get our meals to go. Their containers are quite effective for takeout. We also find their portions to be generous, usually providing us with enough food for two meals from each order.
