"Wanted a great meal and some ambiance haven 't been to Embers since before the pandemic. Was told then that they were expanding and remodeling Embers. I was excited to visit again. Embers is now downstairs in the old Tiwa buffet location by the hotel. If you have never visited Embers Steakhouse before, the open visible floor plan would probably seem ok. But I miss the private setting the upscale decor the patio balcony the big bar as well as the water fire decor features. The only change I saw to the Tiwa location was that they dimmed the lights made the salad bar an artwork display. With a much larger dining capacity. It no longer felt 'special ' or fancy. The restaurant was slammed busy. All of the staff was working hard. Even with a reservation, it was about a 10 minute wait before the hostess greeted us or even made eye contact. Was glad to have a semi private table and not one right on the main casino/hotel walkway. Was happy to have a pretty table setting. The Waiter was efficient though very busy. The wait time for everything was right at the edge of reasonable. Ordered crab cakes for an appetizer but the restaurant, at 6:30p on Weds 01/19/21, was out of everything crab. Had to ask for some bread. Was told that they were out but were 'defrosting ' some. (I think 'baking ' some sounds better. Even nuked it still tasted pretty good. Our drinks from the bar were delicious. The entire meal was SCRUMPTIOUS. Shrimp cocktail was big. Caesar Salad dressing was authentic with anchovies. Steaks were perfectly cooked, big, and very very good. (The only negative was the butter Steak Sauce. It was served next to the steak instead of on top but it was frozen solid in the ramekin. Once melted, it was a nice addition. The sea scallops were AMAZING. Large baked potato. Didn 't pay attention to the green veggies. Sorbet dessert was pretty with white chocolate shaped decorations. Bravo to the Chefs Kitchen staff. The food was 5 stars. The service was 4 stars. The facility decor was 3 stars. Overall, it was nice to finally get a delicious meal during this endless pandemic."

The Green Chili Bacon Hamburger was absolutely delicious, earning a perfect score for its flavor and freshness. The fries were also fantastic, complementing the burger perfectly. The service was quite good, with the staff being attentive and efficient. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant left much to be desired, which is understandable for a takeout spot. Overall, if you're looking for a satisfying meal, I highly recommend trying their Green Chili Bacon Hamburger and fries!"

"What a find! Took a chance based on the other excellent review of this little roadside shack and it paid off! The locals refer to this place as The Shack . Authentic Native American/New Mexican food. Food was very fresh and super tasty! Everything is made fresh to order, so expect to enjoy a nice breezy wait for your order on the patio or under a shade tree. My husband and I shared a couple of flat bread tacos and crispy corn tacos (I could have ate a half-dozen of them). Our son had the Isleta burger which was sandwiched between two crispy pieces of fry bread. We all finished our lunch while saving room for huge crispy/chewy slabs of fry bread and honey! It 's a MUST! They also serve a mean looking funnel cake, but none of us were willing to forgo the fry bread to try it. Three full bellies for less than $25! (2 fry bread tacos, two corn tacos, two orders of fries, an Isleta burger, 3 cans of soda and 3 fry breads with honey)"

"We live down the street from the casino so we frequently go to the casino for the food they have we saw this place and thought we would give it a try finally.... let me tell you when they may take your order well but they don't follow the order at all. They see chicken burrito and just throw the chicken in a tortilla with the smallest amount of cheese then I asked for green chile on the side tho because I have liver issues can't have to much! And so they take my order and it ready 5 minutes later fast nice! So I get my burrito all happy and we leave just assumed the chile was on the side because there were lil sauce containers in the bag... get home open up the burrito and it was covered in so much green chile... I had to give it to my hub I was very upset and hungry. So we tried again last night. Same order thus time there were no sauce cups in the bag and so we thought they were I. The trey with the food. So we come home and again they messed it up they just have me a tortilla full of chicken with the smallest amount of cheese I've ever seen. I ate it but was still sad again. Dietary restrictions: If you have dietary restrictions don't go here they don't care."

"The server seemed overwhelmed and appeared to be the only one working, which led to some stress and disrespectful behavior. However, the ice cream was delicious, and the location was charming. If you're visiting the casino, it's worth a try, but I personally wouldn't go out of my way to visit. They also offer Starbucks drinks and have about six different flavors of ice cream, so the quality is definitely there! I just didn't have the best experience overall."
