"I love this place, it looks so cozy and friendly, the staff were very friendly, I stopped by for food to go, I got a bean burger and a strawberry and banana smoothie, the burger was huge and so good I can't stop thinking about it. "Only my second time eating here but we will definitely be back soon. “Grumpy’s” has got to be an inside joke because the owner is so friendly and talkative. He asked us questions and we chatted about family, childhood adventures, etc … the soup and sandwich were amazing! Mushroom and crab bisque was as good or better than any fine dining restaurant I’ve ever been to. The Grumpy’s sandwich has just the right amount of zing from the hot pepper to taste all the delicious beef, cheese, sautéed onion and sweet red peppers. My wife and I can’t eat a huge amount so we split the sandwich and that was plenty for us. We will be back soon GRUMPY!"

"We love Palermo. The owners are very nice and hard working. They have a great staff and the food is wonderful. Prices are very affordable. It's one of very few restaurants that has lots of different things that I like. I can choose my fav slice of pizza, a gyro, a Cheesesteak, or a great small side salad that is bigger than most salads at other restaurants, and have my Cheesesteak on my salad. Plus it has Yuengling on tap to go with my pizza. They are so busy. It's a very popular neighborhood restaurant. Lots of take out. A month later... They are so wonderful to make my pizza and small side salad just the way I like it. Even when super busy. They are the best!!! 7 24 2020 We are so thankful for the great staff at Palermo. Tonight I just wanted a burger and beer after a long day on zoom and it's so hot my husband didn't want to grill me a burger so we headed out to let someone else cook for us. The salad was great as always and made to order. The burger and waffle fries were so yummy and worth the wait. After all they are super busy almost every evening. Plus we can get Yuengling on tap. They did a great job on delivering a burger with extra lettuce and no bun. Thank you Byron and team. We appreciate you all. We recommend Palermo every time we have installers and repairers working on our home. They all love it too and appreciate a good recommendation since most of them are not from our area. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed. June 2022 I didn't think it could get any better but I was wrong. They created a new spinach roll but it's more like a thin crust bowl filled with spinach and cheese. It's amazing. Then my daughter and I started a weight loss program and she ordered a cauliflower crust pizza and I loved the crust. It's now my new favorite. I can have my favorite toppings I always ordered on a healthy crust. I love the taco pizza too."

"I've grown to love this place! This was our second visit, both times on a Saturday night at 5:30. Both times they were super busy, but the place is like running a well oiled machine. We had 12 people this time. The day before and a reservation for 6, then added 6 more from our photo workshop in Pennhurst. Service was fast and friendly, although the food wasn't all coming together. We ordered 11 personal pizzas and a salad. It could take 5-10 minutes until the last one was delivered. The pizzas were amazing. The crust is so good. The salad was huge. Everyone was happy and I appreciate having Coke on Pepsi every day! It was too busy to find and supplement the manager-buter kudos for you and your staff. We are not from the area, but reasons to be back so we can eat there"

"Love love love the the Philly cheese steak first time I've ate one were wasn't greasy or the meat wasn't dry I came in for the first time on February 17 at the recommendation of a great friend and will continue eating there whenever I want great Italian food I travel all over and have ate at hundreds of different places this is definitely a top 10 for me.......dare I say love at first bite great food environment and people....Thanks Kevin for making my experience here as good as the food my husband and I ate 5 star"
