Koshi Sushi Bistro - Carta

Friendly staff and the best chicken katsu curry I've had in a long time reminiscent of Coco Ichibanya. My wife greatly enjoyed her sushi as well.

The restaurant had a charming atmosphere, with very friendly staff and prompt service. The food was incredible. The dinner for two offered great value for the price. Haha! This has become my new favorite sushi spot.

Including all the NYC sushi restaurants I've been to, Koshi is in my top 3! Love this place and never disappoints. Such a creative menu, perfect presentation and the flavors are amazing. I come here every time Im in Virginia. Ver carta

Excellent food, new menu options like poke bowls appetizers. So many roll options you'll need time to study, unless you have custom favorites. Service is excellent with recommendations for cocktails, wines and eats. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Our absolute new favorite sushi restaurant. We have eaten at many sushi restaurants in the area and this was a diamond in the rough so happy we found it. Great food and great service. Jaden was fabulous this is an absolute must try !!!

We've ordered take out many, many times from Koshi for decent if not spectacular sushi. Actually went in to dive tonight and the service was horrible. An hour after ordering we still hadn't received our food. Server never explained, gave updates, never checked on us. And when we asked the waitress was indifferent. Just awful customer service and a lack of respect. I won't be back anytime soon. Ver carta

I visited this restaurant for dinner, and I found the sushi to be just average, nothing exceptional. I ordered the dinner special, which came with soup, salad, and three rolls for $30. While I definitely received a generous portion of food, the rolls themselves were only mediocre. There's an all-you-can-eat spot in Chesapeake that I think offers better quality for around $26. In hindsight, I should have made the extra drive to go there instead.

I have always had an outstanding experience at Koshi Sushi. The staff is friendly, polite, and attentive. The atmosphere is lively, featuring bright colors and modern decor. Of course, the sushi is truly exceptional. The consistently fresh fish, paired with perfectly cooked rice on a seaweed roll that feels anything but pre-packaged, deserves my highest acclaim. When I bring my parents to town, we always choose Koshi. When my wife and I want to dine out, we head to Koshi. Even when I underwent surgery, my one request in the operating room was for two Philadelphia rolls from Koshi.

So recently they increased their prices (totally get it). We would always get the maki dinner for $18.99 which was phenomenal however now the price has gone up to $25.99. An additional change to the maki it seems the portion sizes are smaller. Last week we ordered 6 different rolls and they were just.....eh. We usually spend over $100 on sushi especially if the sushi is worth it and their rolls tasted underwhelming. Their specialty rolls lack diversity in flavor. If you are willing to travel to Suffolk, Sushi Aka is WORTH the travel, price and quality of sushi. Look at their reviews and photos and make the trip. Ver carta
