"Great food! We ordered some basic entrées that were incredibly well-prepared. We had the spaghetti and meatballs as well as the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken. For our appetizer, we enjoyed the mozzarella caprese. For dessert, we had the panna cotta. Anthony did an excellent job! Please consider paying the servers more than minimum wage. We've usually eaten before taking pictures, so don't blame Anthony for the poor presentation in the photos."

Great food, friendly service. The Rigatoni Quatro Formaggi is the best I have had since leaving Italy. Molto Bene!

Wow, this place is amazing in every way! The food is incredibly delicious, and the atmosphere is something that many newer restaurants lack. The staff truly goes the extra mile, even when they’re busy. You definitely need to give it a try! Ver carta

We were able to reserve the round table in the back room for our group, which was great! Jeremy and the staff were fantastic, as always. The food was excellent, and everyone ordered an additional dish that was served at the same time. Five stars!

This place caused the entire parking lot to smell of garlic. Yum! We ordered the eggplant parm and the tortellini ala pesto. Both were good but, other than garlic, lacked seasoning. The eggplant was not breaded and fried, which is odd. Service was ok and the prices were reasonable.

Many people not wearing masks as they came in and got seated along with some staff unmasked. Had a glass of Chardonnay and a spinach salad with apples, gorgonzola, candied walnuts and a honey balsamic dressing. I also had an order of the really good garlic bread. Food was good and it was crowded on a Friday night.

We have visited Mario's on more than one occasion. They never fail to impress! Their food and service is matched by none here in the Reno/Sparks area! You can tell that they truly care about their customers and put true time and effort into each dish! I would absolutely refer anyone who's looking for great Italian food (at a descent price as well) to visit here! You will not leave disappointed!

"Last night I experienced the most unscrupulous experience I have ever had with a restaurant with the service at the Wok. I am so offended by their actions; I can say we are honestly done with visiting the restaurant in the future. I’ll start with we have been getting dinner on our way out of town every month or so from the Wok for years. Their food is generally very good, but we have had a few times where the food missed the mark. Everyone has an off day so we keep going back, until last night. Their online ordering did not work, so my wife called in an order while I was driving through Reno and I stopped by to pick it up. There was a little confusion when I arrived as they ahad three to go orders on the counter. It seemed they worked everything out and I paid for the order and left to head home. Twelve minutes later I get a call. It’s the Wok and they tell me they had given me the wrong order and asked if I could return. The employee apologized profusely and since we wanted what we ordered, I went back. I arrived at the restaurant and took the order they had provided back in and they checked the bags. The cashier told me she charged me the wrong amount as she had rung up the wrong order. I asked what the difference was (first bill was $63.00 for four entrees and some potstickers) and was told the new total was $94.00. The last order we had was for the same items and was just under $70, so $94 was a shock. The cashier told me she had told my wife the wrong amount and apologized. She also offered a $10 discount. I paid the bill and said I would wait for our food. Much to my shock, I watched them empty the items they had given me, place it on the counter and everything was what we ordered. One entrée had spilled when they took it out and they quickly put it in another bag and then with a big smile handed me the items I already had. I said, “so my order was correct but the amount you charged was wrong?” I asked why did you lied to me to get me to come back. I was told that I would not have paid if they did not lie about why I needed to come back. I was incredulous and decided the best thing to do was to just leave. So, 35 minutes after I left the first time, I was on my way again. Once I got home, II asked my wife what the total was that they provided when she called in the order. She said they specifically told her they did not have a total and I would provide that to me when I picked up the food. Yet another lie. I tallied up my items and came up with a total of $68.75, certainly less than what I originally paid, but clearly not the $94.00 they tried to charge. So tonight, I called and ordered the same items and was told the order would be $76.57, yet a different amount. I promptly told them no thank you. Most restaurants would honor their mistake. With that said, if they called and told me I paid the wrong amount, I would have made it right. But instead, they lied to me, clearly tried to overcharge me and then gave me a discount that was still more than the price for the same food 24 hours later. Their actions were inappropriate, uncalled for and unscrupulous. Over the last year, we visited this restaurant 10 times, but last night was the last time they get any business from us."
