"Extremely slow! I usually avoid this place because of the long lines, but I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I faced a long wait for a microwaved burger, and they didn't even have ice cream available. Overall, the service was just awful."

It took at least 30 minutes to receive our food. We ordered takeout for lunch, and the price was around $10–20 per person. I would recommend the French fries and the Big Mac. There was plenty of parking available with free parking options.

"We only started visiting this restaurant this year, and now it's hard to dine anywhere else because we appreciate the quality and cleanliness that Ellie's offers. The Bananas Foster French toast is absolutely incredible! My husband, who typically doesn't eat vegetables, loves their Michigan Salad. The staff is always cleaning when they’re not attending to guests, which is so refreshing. Everyone has also been very friendly."

"I ordered the chicken-bacon-ranch salad and was thoroughly impressed. The lettuce was fresh and finely chopped, the chicken was tender and served in generous portions, and there was just the right amount of bacon to add flavor without overwhelming the salad. Sometimes, salads at small bar-and-grill places can be a gamble, but Mio Saloon really hit the mark. That said, this place hasn't been overrun by yuppies; it retains its charm as a relaxed small-town bar with a biker crowd. It also seems to be a local hangout where people come for lunch and to chat, often bringing their kids along. I imagine the atmosphere might change at night, and as I visit Mio a few times a year, I plan to check it out on my next trip."

"I brought my family from Florida to show them where I'm from, and the first place we had to visit was the MIO PIZZA shop. We ordered four servings of their breadsticks, which are truly WORLD famous and taste just as incredible as they did 25 years ago. You absolutely must try the BREADSTICKS! They will change your life. And don't forget to take a picture with the pink elephant—she's quite old!"

"My daughter and I dined at The Paddle Inn last Wednesday while I was visiting from Ohio. Although the place was quite busy when we arrived, we were seated immediately. Our waiter was prompt and took our orders without delay, providing great service throughout the meal. The food was exceptional—my daughter ordered the Country Skillet, and I had the half-order of Nachos Grande. We also shared a delicious bread pudding topped with vanilla ice cream. I noticed that there were only two waitstaff in the entire restaurant, yet they were courteous and polite to all the patrons. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience."

"We visited during the off-season in late October and I was pleasantly surprised by the bar and food selections, the service, and the clean restrooms, even though there were only a few customers at 6 PM on Thursday during the fall. The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (seasonally, perhaps?). I thoroughly enjoyed the hot brisket sandwich, which featured beef that was cooked in their backyard smoker."
