"Fun atmosphere and popping. . Food good. They need a host. People are expected to seat themselves. So they sit at dirty tables and then complain about it. Lol. Child barely able to walk was left wandering around bar area. People sidestepping the kid. Mom was around but usually 4 or 5 feet away thinking it was cool and cute. 9pm at night for child not cute. I'll go back for sure."

First time here. Great experience. Server and bartender were very friendly. The old fashioned was great. We had the pot roast and the Ruben. Both were fantastic! Awesome Irish spot to come to!!!

Classic Irish bar set in the middle of Barrington. Staff was great, the food was good, including traditional Irish fare. The bar was loud, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Loved the experience! Ver carta

This place is really charming! I only tried the cider, which was delicious, and the server was excellent. The atmosphere is pleasant and not too noisy, plus the decor is lovely. I do wish they had some vegan options, though. I definitely recommend stopping by!

The service was fantastic! The staff was very attentive and went the extra mile by returning to the bar to inquire about drink recommendations, bringing back a great list. The Irish mule was absolutely delicious! Plus, the building itself has a really cool atmosphere.

We showed up with a family of 4 and an hour before a movie started. The waitress was super helpful getting all of our food and giving us recommendations. The food was great. The space was a lot of fun. Very Irish bar with a good beer list. A good place to eat with great service. We are going to go back again. Ver carta

We visited McGonigal's to watch Irish singers Colm and Laura Keegan. Since we arrived early, we decided to have dinner at the pub. I ordered the pot roast, which was excellent and filled with generous portions of meat. My husband had the fish and chips, and he enjoyed his meal as well. The show was also very entertaining!

We were looking for a good place to get a corned beef dinner and found McGonigal's. It just so happened to be on the first Sunday of the month and they had live Irish music. They were really busy but still we were able to get a table. The food was fantastic, with big portions, the service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was just fun. We will absolutely be back.
