MED - Carta

One of my new favorite spots in downtown BoulderI haven't surveyed the menu too extensively but I can say that The Med does Mediterranean right.

Can I say how cool and popular this place was? My parents never had the chance to have Mediterranean food so I chose this restaurant to kind of show them.

Such a great place for tapas! Beautiful location and the servers are awesome! Will be back. The floral decor is stunning and the outside terrace is perfect. You feel you are in a different world. Love it.

Been one of my favorites over the past ten years. Good food all around, but their tapas menu is really where they shine. It's a large restaurant, but very fun and comfortable to walk through. The patio is particularly nice.

We visited a happy hour. It seemed so packed that we were afraid the waiting time would be too long, but the hostess told us we could sit on an empty high top if we could find one. I'm glad we did this because the tapas were delicious! Great prices and selection for Happy Hour. Sangria was also delicious. Ver carta

Great place with tons of delish tapas options. The special pizza of the day was also about yum. The Falafel is great, definitely try the Calamari too. I wish the Papas bravas had a little more season or were more crisp, but they were still pretty good. Also great service. Good list of local beers on tap too.

Too big and too loud. Food not well executed. In our party of 7, food came out at three different times: pizza 5 minutes early, then four dishes, then 5 minutes later the paella. One order was sent back because it was over cooked. The paella, although last to the table, seemed rushed. Isn’t the best part of paella the rice that sticks to the pan? None here. Service was good, but the back of this restaurant is loud. Overpriced. At these prices I expect better.

The place looked expensive, but the dishes were very cheap. Service was great and the food was exceptionally delicious. We ordered Empanadas to start lentils chicken soup. Then laugh on pasta for me and for my wife, chop lamb with steamed broccoli and egg on the side. Both were cooked and perfectly seasoned! For dessert we shared a blackberry and strawberry crumbs and it was delicious. All the ordered dishes arrived in time and the waiter came by to check us several times. Very nice place. Ver carta
