"The onion rings were overcooked and burnt to a crisp, leaving the onions extremely crunchy and inedible. I was disappointed to see that the quality at Nations has declined. The BLT was also quite dry, which was surprising. On a positive note, the lemon meringue pie was fantastic!"

The burgers were fresh and served warm. The fries and onion rings were hot and crispy, and the banana crema was absolutely delightful! It seems something has improved for the better!

I've been visiting Nations for as long as I can remember, and it's always been good. However, this time, it was noticeably better! I'm not sure if they've made any changes, but this was the best meal I've ever had from them!

Hamburger buns were burnt . The hamburger was cooked to death making it tough to eat, even the cat passed on it. The tomato was not ripe. The fries were cold and soggy. I always liked this restaurant in the past but for $70 will cook hamburgers at home and only buy their pies. Ver carta

"I want to express my gratitude for the outstanding breakfast experience! I've been searching for a place that not only offers a diverse selection of breakfast dishes but also provides delivery, and I've finally found it. I've ordered multiple times, and every time, the food has been prepared exactly to my preference—even my poached eggs are perfect! My personal favorites are the Mount Diablo Scramble and the various bowls. The portions are generous; I always have enough for both breakfast and lunch. The flavors are reminiscent of home-cooked meals, with well-balanced ingredients that complement each other beautifully—nothing is too overpowering. Additionally, the service is remarkable! My orders consistently arrive in 20 minutes or less, and there was even one occasion where my breakfast was still warm upon arrival. The meals are genuinely of restaurant quality, so while I do spend a bit more, it’s definitely worth it for an occasional treat for myself."

"This restaurant was great. I highly recommend it. The pancakes were light and fluffy with a slight chewiness to them. My wife didn't care for this texture, but I enjoyed it. She mentioned that it reminded her of mochiko. The portion size of the chicken fried steak was generous and the flavor was delicious. The beef was tender enough that it didn't require a knife to cut. However, the bacon was thin and limp, which was disappointing. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the current inflation. I overheard the new owners telling a customer that they were the new owners, so take that into consideration if you've been here before (I hadn't)."

"My wife and love this place. We've been 5 times together, she has been at least 10 other times with her friends. We do not live close, we are in Pleasanton, so I think that speaks to how good it is and how much we enjoy it, that we will either make a 30 minute drive one-way to specifically go here, as well as going here when we are in the area. I will say we had gotten away from dining at Chinese restaurants over the past decade as many are so mediocre, while we can go eat at a plethora of great Thai, Vietnamese and Indian Food. Yan's restores my faith that there still is GREAT Chinese restaurants out there! GREAT service ... friendly, appreciative, fast, efficient... just tremendous. We've had too many great dishes to list them all over our many visits ... but some of our favorites are the pork potstickers (as good as any potstickers I've ever had), all the dim sum/appetizers are terrific, salt pepper shrimp (incredible), dry green beans with pork, all the noodle dishes ... we had chicken chow fun. We did a group dinner one night where I got to try more than 10 different items. Every one was really good with several being tremendous! Already salivating at the thought of returning, even though we just ate here Friday."
