"We were here several times before and the service and the food was always excellent. We went to a 50-year anniversary party tonight, and it was as different as it was before and definitely lacked in both departments. We booked five days in advance, but it was probably not necessary because the restaurant was rather empty compared to previous visits. Some of our party arrived earlier and while in the bar noticed that the soda was really sweet and there was no carbonization. They mentioned this on the server/bartender and she said that?s just as it was. When we were sitting, we were told that our server was held three times and we were sympathetic and said we understood, take your time and all that. While we waited, two glasses of water were brought to our party of seven, with only one or two ice cubes in each glass, and the water was lukewarm. When our server finally made it back to us, we ordered more water for the rest of the table and we asked for more ice. More water was brought and there was almost no ice in these. We asked again for more ice cream and a cup of ice was taken around the middle of the meal. We also asked about the soda again and told them that there was only syrup and no carbonization, and she just said there was nothing they could do - it was just strange that there was no offer of fixation of CO2 or something to replace these drinks. The appetizers came out quite quickly after the order and were ok, Calamari was really cheesy - not as it is usually. Children Cheeseburger was over cooked and rock hard. Our child took a little bite and had a hard time to swallow it. This was made aware of our servers and removed from the invoice. Seafood in the pasta was kind of hard and cooked, but the taste of the sauce was good. Steaks were good. Bread was good. The server brought wrapped cookies an extra that was nice. It was about 45 minutes from the time we sat until we ordered our meals. Great gaps between check-in from the server. Our server (which was also at the beginning behind the bar when we arrived) was stretched thinly, you could say that she only did not get the help she needed, which in turn made her short with people. I worked well over a decade in the service industry, and I am very lenient and understanding when it comes to certain things, but also know good service and gastronomy, and that was not. Super disappointed and will not be back for a while."

This is our go-to spot for pasta dinners, and we’ve always enjoyed our meals here! The bread is served warm, the salads are generous, and the pasta dishes offer excellent portion sizes for the price. If you're nearby or in search of an Italian meal, we highly recommend this place!

This is my first bad rating for anything ever but this one IS WELL DESERVED!!! Third time in a row they put croutons on my wife salad who has a gluten allergy and she told them nicely they made a mistake last time we ordered. They respond by taking it back to make a ?new salad? both ends of every piece of lettuce was brown and this is unsanitary. As a chef or a cook or a manager or anyone with any common sense should know this is 100% unsatisfactory. We are very disappointed because we enjoy supporting mom and pop businesses. They need to get it together and they also need to refund me my money.

We had the complimentary bread, ordered the calamari and two bolognese dishes (one red sauce and one Rosa sauce . The bread was alright but seems like it had been sitting for a while.. the calamari was chewy and lukewarm as well.. and both of our pasta dishes had an abnormally EXCESSIVE amount of cheese on them (see the photos . Eventually I added chilli flakes and took off as much cheese I could from my red sauce dish this tasted SO much better! So the sauces were fine, but the cheese just overpowered the dish. That being said, although the portions were a good size, for the flavours and the quality of the dishes it really shouldn 't be so expensive... Overall, an okay experience. I must sa...
