Papi's Cuban Caribbean Grill

Authentic, filling and flavorful with great serving sizes. We tried the Cuban sampler, Masitas Pork, Pollo Vaca Frita, and the Arroz Con Pollo. Pork dish was just OK but everything else was awesome. Food 4/5 Ambience 3.5/5 Service 4/5

I just have to say, the natural mango juice is absolutely amazing! I drank it so quickly because it tasted incredible. I also ordered the arroz con pollo, and as always, it was delicious. The chicken was perfectly tender and practically falling off the bone!

The food was fantastic. I visited with a group of 10, and our waitress did an excellent job managing us all. I will definitely come back. I had been there once before, and it seems they’ve made some nice improvements since then. The atmosphere was pleasant enough for a decent date night, and the prices were reasonable. Ver carta

Went there for the first time with my husband and we ordered the Cuban sandwich that was very salty. It had too much mayonnaise in very little meat. A Cuban sandwich is supposed to be very hot with melted cheese on top and this was a whole sandwich and it was soggy. This did not taste like you've been food, was very unhappy in this satisfied.

I recently dined at Papi's for the second time, and both experiences were fantastic! The food was delicious, and the customer service was exceptional. Our waitress, Tara, was outstanding—she paid great attention to detail and ensured that my family and I had everything we needed. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for great food and service!

The food is always good and quick. The Papi's sauce is amazing. I was a little apprehensive about trying a Cuban restaurant but the Polo Chicken sandwich is delicious. Some of the servers get your order wrong because of the language barrier and defining calm your order in over the phone. They have messed up our order a few times calling in. The atmosphere is fun and the music goes with the Cuban theme. Ver carta

The pollo vaca frita came with beans, plantains, rice, chicken, peppers, and a salad, making for a colorful presentation. However, the rice was cold, hard, and tasted like it was a day old. The plantains were also dry and tough, and the chicken breast lacked moisture—while it had some flavor, it wasn't enough to save the dish. I didn't even try the salad. I'm puzzled as to how this place earned the title of the #4 Cuban restaurant in Atlanta.

Upon entering we were seated right away. Our server was very patient and she helped explain some of the options on the menu that we were unfamiliar with. We settled on the empanadas swiftly and I'm glad we did! They were divine! I will go back to Papi's for the empanadas every time I have a craving from here on! You could taste the soul of the restaurant in those empanadas! Yummy! The atmosphere is very casual. Dressed down or dressed up either way you'll fit in here.

This is close to home so always an option for us. We went in for dinner as a party of 6 (3 adults, 3 children). It had been a while so I was surprised to see a new logo and sign out front. The hostess had trouble trying to figure out how to seat us, so we go to tour both sides of the restaurant before landing on an appropriately sized table. That was the extent of any issues. I'm a huge fan of Papi's and will sometimes order their empanadas to pick up as a snack or meal on its own. All of our food was very tasty. I was especially happy with the flavor on the pollo vaca frita and the black beans. My 1yo was dancing in her high chair eating the plantains and the teenager ate her ajiaco with no... Ver carta
