"By far the best pizza around; different spices from all the others. It 's the only pizza I have purchased for over twenty years. Consistent quality, very flavorful and up until the past year or so featured a very generous amount of specified toppings, which pretty much justified (for me) the rather steep price. The 6-8 pizzas I 've had over the past year, although adequate, did not boost the previously experienced quantity of toppings, deflating the monumental wow of it all and making the pricing more difficult to swallow. The atmosphere of both establishments belies the quality of both their superb sandwiches and pizza and for the life of me. I don 't understand the required, beyond ugly uniforms. In and of itself, the ensemble of tawdry yellow poly-blend shirts and truckers ' hats no doubt discourages prospective customers; the incongruity of atmosphere (including the aforementioned dress code) and food is noteworthy."

This is the best Pizza in Maine. I am a pizza pig and I’ve had alot of pizza and this place is the best. It has a brick oven tasting crust and the sausage and pepperoni are the best.

Since moving to Massachusettes the Pizza Joint makes my list of top 5 things I miss the most. Every time I am back in town I try to make time for Pizza Joint pizza. I have just ordered 5 16 pizzas for a customer meeting tomorrow. I can't wait!

You definitely need to give Pizza Joint's pizza a try. The pepperoni is outstanding—better than what you’ll find at other places—and they really load it on. While the prices are a bit higher, it's absolutely worth it! Contrary to what some other reviewers have mentioned, I’ve always found their sandwiches to be great as well.

I 'm New Yorker and demand perfection from my pizza. This place is about the best. They use maybe too much cheese but for a lot of people this is a good thing. I absolutely LOVE this pizza. They use REAL Italian Sausage (if I see another frikken pork nugget on a pizza I 'm going to throw something). Real fresh ingredients. In fact, I 'm going to get some to take home right now. The food here is decent, especially the pastrami sandwich, which I’ve been ordering for years. However, I’d recommend excluding this place from your takeout options. I’ve been denied delivery at 8 PM too many times, which is quite frustrating. While the food is good, it’s not worth the hassle of calling only to be turned away. Additionally, the area where you place your orders tends to be very dusty.

Save yourself the trouble and skip the Chicken Fingers; they were soggy and tasteless. As for the Steak Bomb sandwich, it was just as bland and truly disappointing! I won’t be ordering that again! A couple of months ago, my spouse had a roast beef Italian sandwich that featured old roast beef. The only redeeming quality of Pizza Joint is their pizza, which I'd rate a solid 5 for food quality. However, be cautious with their sandwiches. To top it off, PJoint is pricey. Both my spouse and I are really upset that we spent nearly $30 on dinner tonight, and it was terrible. Such a letdown!
