no complaints smothered pork chops in gravy mash taters green beans and corn muffin. Gumbo wow. everything was on Point. ok. maybe lil more gravy. for me mom.

Very disappointed baked chicken dry, black eyes peas full of fat meat, grease and bones. Forgot to send cranberry sauce. Have to leave them alone until they get better!

I'm very disappointed with this experience and will definitely not be returning. On top of that, the cashier lacked proper people skills. Overall, this establishment was a significant letdown—be cautious if you decide to eat here! Ver carta

I was treated to dinner by my brother, Ted Robinson, at this restaurant. The meal included macaroni and cheese and sweet potatoes, and everything was fantastic. It was the best dressing I’ve ever had at a restaurant. God willing, I’ll be back again from Lincoln, Nebraska!

We love this place, my fiance and I always come here to get food. They have good food and the employees are kind and respectful. I also love that that employees are willing to take our order and make sure that we get what we asked for and they have never ever been rude or disrespectful to us. I recommend this place to everyone.

I would love to rate this restaurant five stars, but I was really excited to try their sweet potato macaroni and cheese and chicken. Upon arriving at the Hazel Crest location, I discovered it was closed, with a sign indicating that it has permanently shut down. I’m incredibly disappointed, especially since there was no notice on the website or anywhere else to let us know. It’s a Sunday, and I was really in the mood for some soul food. The food fine until I ran across a piece of small plastic in my spaghetti. Wish I woulda took a pic of it, but didn't think about putting it n my review. It jus look like a corner piece of a bag or a lil piece of plastic wrap... idk, but I'm glad it was laying on top that I saw it. So blk ppl eat carefully look ur food. My mom said we should a took it bac... I said naw it's ok... I'll give em a 2nd chance. But if I find anything else I will b returning not for the food. I had spaghetti... it was ok if u like a slight sweetness 2 it... which I don't. Yams was on POINT. Bbq ribs was decent... a lil fatty but will get again.

It’s sad when good food service don’t go hand in hand to say the least ??‍How hard is it to read a ticket let alone how difficult is it to use more than 1 bag with multiple orders???!!!! I’ve been going to this location since it opened its always a hit or miss. Sometimes the food is really good sometimes you get it it’s like why did I even bother ??‍. I would’ve rather gave 5 stars cuz the food was good the left overs were even better even though the greens with turkey wasn’t as seasoned as the greens with pork. But seeing as they forgot a WHOLE MEAL I had to wait for chicken wings that should’ve been ready when I got there 1 star is bout all it deserves ??‍

Expect Delays…… but not 2.5 hours!Turn the app off…. If you can’t fulfill orders in a timely fashion.Trying to support local businesses I placed an order thru ChowNow who after accepting my payment told me that my order wouldn’t be ready for 2 and a half hours So in less than 10 mins from the time of placing order…..I went to the restaurant (Which was chaotic with customers complaining) to request cancellation and a refund and I was told that they could not cancel it from the restaurant and I would have to contact ChowNow who refuses to issue a refund without the restaurant’s consent however the restaurant failed to answer any of their calls or emails and the kicker…. they don’t open until W...
