Very good food Very good service. Prompt quick preparation of my order. Table's are well spaced, and ordered. Great view of the ocean.

There is significant advantage coming off-season. Breakfast buffet very good. Not a huge variety but that was fine. Order omlet was great. Service was fantastic as well.

Not everyone loved their meal... but the hush puppies are to die for! So amazingly good and they will keep bringing them (free) all night long! Staff very attentive and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Ver carta

The food was delicious and the waitress was very nice. I ordered shrimp tacos with fries and they were so good! I recommend you to try it! It’s a nice place, relaxing environment. They have specific times for each meal so if you don’t want to miss your option make sure you are going at the right time .

this is a wonderful restaurant with a beautiful sea view. Eating and service are always excellent. sarah was wonderful to lead me through my meal. such a wonderful young lady. carolina seafood platter with collard greens, a ceasar salad and her phenomenal hush puppies let me wish that I could eat in the sea captain’s house weekly. superb.

Was referenced to this place by a local and was not disappointed. From the cozy atmosphere to the friendly attentive staff it was delightful. Everything we had to eat was well prepared and delicious. Our group really enjoyed the lump crab cake and our drinks were well crafted. Highly recommend a stop during happy hour if you want to save a bit of cash but either way will come again every time I’m in town. Cheers!!! Ver carta

The Sea Captain's House is the place to go for a lovely dinning experience! Today was my fourth visit in four years. Every time, I've received excellent service, delicious food, and a relaxing view. I've visited in both the tourist and off seasons. This place is always popular! So, I recommend calling in a reservation to avoid a wait time. Friends and I recommend the she crab soup, the jambalaya, and the muddle. Special thanks to our server Gill today for helping us pick a dry red wine!

We had a really nice dinner on a Sunday night! We ate outside on the patio and there was live music until 8PM. There is a beautiful view of the ocean. We didn’t have a reservation and waited out front for 45 minutes, which didn’t bother us. They have a bar on the patio and you can wait there or on the grassy area near the patio (and listen to the music). There was also the option to visit the bar inside or sit inside while you wait. There is plenty of parking across the street and they offer valet. My mom is vegetarian and it was nice to see the restaurant has a vegetarian/gluten free menu. Our server was outstanding! Loved this place. Megan was awesome and super personable. She gave us all the lemons in town for our water. She recommended the soup that had been in the family since the beginning of time, but we decided to save that for another day and went with the bag bang shrimp appetizer. It was super crispy and the sauce was fantastic. I had the blackened mahi tacos with chips and salsa, just the way the good Lord intended fish tacos to be eaten. My (sometimes) better half had the burger...medium, so he did end up with a soggy bun by the end, but he probably should have eaten faster and not babysat it. After all, he said he was hungry.
