The restaurant has new owners and has been renamed to Carolina's Ice Cream Shop Café. The ice cream is fantastic, and they have my daughter's favorite, Pez Ice Cream! The food is also really good.

The fish tonight was overcooked and not up to par. Normally, the fish we buy here is quite good, but not this time. The hush puppies, fish, and onion rings all had a burnt taste. We also asked for coleslaw, but it wasn’t provided. Additionally, the fish portions were smaller than usual. Overall, it wasn’t as good as it used to be.

Mom had a Taco salad and it looked really good. It had lots of ground beef on it and a big portion. I had the chicken tenders with fried okra and my food was just right also. This charming small-town restaurant is a gem. They offer delicious food and excellent ice cream, all served by friendly staff. I dined in for lunch and found the experience exceptional. The price per person ranges from $20 to $30, which I felt was very reasonable for the quality. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars. I highly recommend trying the burger and fries. Plus, there is plenty of free parking available.

The burgers tasted like McDonald's burgers, the frys were basic, the okra was mushy, the salads aren't to bad and drink refills definitely do not come without asking. It is expensive because everything is sold separately. Seems like it should be a family place but really feels more like an quiet place elderly would go when they want eat in silence no children or young people around. My girlfriend and I used to eat breakfast every Saturday and Sunday morning here. We just bought some property not far from there so it was convenient as well.
