"Went to Gracie's for the first time for Sunday Brunch. There was a wait, no problem, we expected it. What we didn't expect was the complete inability to manage things. For one, a party of 4 that arrived 10 minutes after us was seated before us (also a party of 4). It took another 7 minutes to seat us after they were seated. Once seated, the service was okay, but the incident at the start left a bitter taste in our mouths. That bitter taste didn't go away with the food. I ordered the brisket sandwich: it was essentially heated up dry luncheon meat, which I could have gotten at a deli for less. One of the people in my party had disco fries, the restaurant's version of poutine, except without enough cheese or gravy. A 3rd started feeling ill after eating the impossible burger. All in all, I won't be going back, I recommend giving it a miss."

"I hope management sees this review and fixes their online system, or have a conversation with their hostess about how to speak with potential customers. My friends and I arrived at this restaurant at 5:30 pm hoping to walk in for dinner. The hostess informed us they were fully booked and couldn’t let us eat without a reservation. We noticed there were empty tables and, out of curiosity, we checked Google and found that reservations were available at 6pm, thinking maybe someone cancelled. We made the reservation for 4 at 6 pm and returned. When we arrived, we showed the hostess our reservation, and she told us that they “didn’t have internet” (with an iPad in her hands) and that we still couldn’t eat there. I suggested to her that she inform management they should probably fix their online reservation system so people don’t make the same mistake and while leaving she called us “stupid for not trusting the human.” We were really excited to eat here and are very disappointed by the hostility of the hostess."

"I ordered take-out while visiting my family, who recommended this restaurant based on their previous experiences. I hadn't been there in a while, but they assured me it was a reliable choice. The food was hot and ready when I arrived at the designated time. However, when I got back to my sister's place and opened the boxes, the food didn't smell or look very fresh. My sister immediately noticed a decline in quality, saying, "Oh, this is different from what we usually get. The dumplings are not the same." The Rangoon was mostly cream cheese and had an unpleasant odor, almost like stale fryer oil. I decided to reach out for a refund via email, but I still haven't received a response. At this point, we won’t be ordering from here again anytime soon."

"The place is cute, it gave my buddy and I a lot of nostalgia to eat here. It's perfectly clean, just looks slightly dated. Not complaining, though. I had the Barnwood burger, it was very tasty and you can tell the beef has never been frozen. Buddy had the strip steak, it was cooked just how he wanted and tasted pretty nice but had a little too much gristle not trimmed off the tip. They have the best chicken wings ANYWHERE. My buddy and I agree, they're the best wings we've ever had. They're smoked but don't taste too smoky, they're literally fall off the bone tender, they're absolutely incredible. Do yourself the favor and get at least a dozen."

"My family had lunch at Wasana, and we were pleasantly surprised by the authentic Thai cuisine offered at this family-run establishment. The ambiance is simple and clean, lacking any unnecessary embellishments. We ordered a variety of dishes, including fried rice, pad Thai, curry, and seafood, all of which were delicious and well-prepared. The food had a nice level of spiciness, so if you're sensitive to heat, be sure to ask for milder options. A few dishes were a bit on the salty side. The curries and saucy dishes are served with jasmine rice, but you can request brown rice as an alternative. The service was outstanding, much better than our experience at a pricier restaurant the night before. Wasana is conveniently located on the main street in the charming center of Catskill, surrounded by numerous shops and boutiques."
