Tangie's Cafe - Carta

Tangie's Cafe is one of the best hidden gems in the state! It’s a bit small, though. I usually go for Sunday brunch, but the food on Sundays is really disappointing. Actually, they’re closed on Sundays, so definitely avoid going then!

My first time at Tangie's Cafe was on a sister date, and the meal was delicious! The service was excellent, and the coffee was just right. I should have ordered a bigger plate of the tasty biscuits and gravy! Definitely a fantastic spot for breakfast!

Really nice folks. Felt very comfortable being here. We got eggs, waffles, coffee. We came here because of the wealth of high reviews. Love the idea of a hole-in-the-wall diner having delicious grub. Sadly, the grub and coffee was very average. Won?tvisit again. Ver carta

Tangie's rocks because it's cheap, it feels like the most local restaurant in town with so many regulars. The breakfasts taste real, with good bacon and decent gravies, the eggs and hash browns are always worth the price and the company makes the review a4 star restaurant.

I walked in Tangies for the first time and asked them what they were famous for and they said garbage hash browns . So I ordered some up. The hash browns had everything in them, then I had two eggs over easy placed on top and then they poured their homemade gravy over all. It was amazing.

This place was super busy, full of locals, and had great specials. I had the french toast, and felt like everything was cooked well. Even though it was busy the service wasn?t slow, and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. It?s a little run down and theseating wasn?t great, but I had a nice time and breakfast was delicious. Ver carta

Definitely a small local place in a small town.. Looks worn down. Ordered typical american breakfast.. Food is bland, flavorless. No seasoning. AT ALL. How can you cook without seasonings???? BAFFLING! I certainly wouldn't go there again nexttime I visit this town. The one star is for the waitress that was nice and very thoughtful to us and our baby.

I visited Tangie's Cafe expecting a typical small diner, but was pleasantly surprised by their excellent breakfast. The food and service were both outstanding. They’ve recently refreshed the space with new carpets and restored all the seating, making it a cozy spot. It’s a charming café, and the other patrons were friendly and welcoming if you feel like chatting. I highly recommend stopping by—just don’t come all at once, since there aren’t many tables. Save a seat for me!

Let me begin by saying that Diner Essen is my favorite. I decided to try Tangies, his status as mother and Pop Diner. I ordered the French Toast Special and one side of Scones. All flavors were perfect the sausage was perfectly cooked, the eggs were very tasteful, and as others mentioned, the blackberry syrup is delicious! The French toast was a little soft for my taste, but again the taste was there. Scones were hot and fresh with some crispy. The best I found in the area. I will definitely be back if only for this. Notes for first timers: Sit when you go in. No one has to wait for someone to help you. (I got confused and went to the counter first pay at the switch when you are finished eat... Ver carta
