"Among the best Mexican restaurants in Florida. Very clean, great atmosphere with authentic Mexican music, and a terrific staff with exceptional service. We lived in Southern California for many years and have eaten in Mexican restaurants throughout the United States and in Mexico. We consider ourselves experts at Mexican food. Overall, everything was very flavorful, although not as spicy as we like. For those who like milder food, it’s perfect. The salsa was homemade with lots of fresh cilantro not spicy, but flavorful. Tortilla soup was really good, with fresh avocado and well cooked shredded chicken. It also contained rice, which is unusual for me, but good. The tacos and the rellenos are made in the California style, thick shells and crust. California taco shells are thick, not at all like the shells we usually get in grocery stores or most eastern restaurants. Both were also very flavorful, but not spicy. The ground beef tasted great. Beans and rice were well above average in flavor and consistency. Margaritas were terrific, but ask for better Tequila. We will definitely go back. It’s the best we’ve found south of Tallahassee."
