I rated this restaurant 2 stars due to the poor service. The waitress seemed to be inexperienced, as we waited nearly 2 hours for our food. Others who arrived after us received their meals before we even got our salads. On the positive side, the ambiance was pleasant and the food was tasty. I'd consider giving it another try, but I hope to avoid the same server next time.

My favorite dining experience in the Adirondack area! The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, friendly service, and excellent food. While they usually require reservations, they still accommodated us and provided genuine, friendly service. Everything was fresh, cooked to perfection, and served promptly. The salads and burgers were delicious, and the pasta was surprisingly well-seasoned. I truly enjoyed my time here!

I made a reservation for 8 PM and had an outstanding experience—definitely the best service you'll find in the Adirondacks. The food was excellent! We were a family of four: two adults and two children. Everything is prepared from scratch, and you can tell that the owner and his wife take great pride in their work. This is a must-visit spot in Eagle Bay, so be sure to call ahead for your reservation. We're going back on Friday, and don't forget to try their homemade desserts! Ver carta

I have never been treated as poorly at a restaurant as I was there. My elderly relatives and I were seated and then told to leave because they wrote down the wrong reservation (wrong date). I understand mistakes happen and it’s been a tough year, but they made no attempts to make up for it. They didn’t offer us to grab a drink at the bar while we for a table or offer us the ability for a to go order. The manager point blank told us to leave while there were empty tables. They really should not be in the hospitality business.

We've consistently enjoyed our meals every time we've visited. The waitstaff has always been friendly, and we haven't experienced any issues with wait times for service. The daily specials have been impressive, and the fish frys are excellent. We've been glad to make reservations during our recent visits. The only improvement we could suggest is addressing the noise level, as it can get quite loud when the dining room is full. Some soundproofing might help with that. We look forward to coming back the next time we're in the area!

had a disappointing evening tonight. We were so excited for dinner, made reservations for the 9 of us.. then today, one friend drove 2 hours to surprise us and wanted to join us for dinner.. But we were told we should have called ahead, they had no extra chairs! We just needed one chair! one chair. I was shocked; we all were... After about 10 very awkward minutes, our friend had to leave... because they couldn't get us one extra chair! our waitress told us we should have called ahead..... ????... 1. if we knew we were having an extra person we would have... but 2. if we had, does that mean they would have gotten a chair?? makes no sense. Plus, we were there over an hour and saw a round table... Ver carta
