Treat - Carta

For the longest time, I thought this was a bakery or sweet shop. After enjoying dinner here with a girlfriend I was kicking myself for taking so long to sit down at a table and see what Treat has to offer. The food is simply divine, the atmosphere is intimate and the employees are always so joyful. Hands down one of the best spots to eat in Morganton!

I enjoyed the most delicious crabless cakes I've ever had. The use of Lion’s mane mushrooms is brilliant, and the flavor was outstanding. I had to skip the tartaric acid sauce since it wasn't vegan, but the cakes were still delicious without it. I also tried the tofu, which was vegan. I just wish they offered a vegan tartaric acid option and more vegan choices on the menu!

Awesome little gem in downtown Morganton. We arrived kind of late on a Friday evening, after being disappointed in our first choice. They were super accommodating and friendly despite us late diners. We were so pleased and thankful they were so great. Food was amazing, service stellar. We had begun to give up on treating ourselves to dinner out, so happy we found you! We will be back soon. Okay, okay, okay, I'm not being biased here. It could have another name and would get the same rating. But... yes, it was great! One of the best places I was in a while, and I will return! Salmon, pasta, unique drinks and the Polar Plunge- 4 cheese creamy sky! I said I can go out menu, but things are so good that I don't have to!! I gotta make it dessert someday. Update... I dare make it through dessert, lavender crem brule' and flourless chocolate cake to call a couple are just so delicious!

This restaurant in Western North Carolina is a true gem. The vegan chef creates everything from scratch, and the delightful aromas and real vegan options are impressive. The atmosphere is charming and inviting. I had the sweet potato curry, which was even more amazing than everything else I tried, and I couldn't finish it all! Even though we live about 45 minutes away, the trip is definitely worth it. Additionally, the historic town of Morganton is lovely and picturesque, perfect for a leisurely visit.

Okay, this place is really a TREAT. Beautiful service and a cozy atmosphere. We had a Caesar salad, salmon with Pesto Pasta, Wham Shrimp Pasta, buzz off Mojito, lavender lemonade and a berry white chocolate cheesecake! All right. We were shocked how fresh everything was. Even the cheese was freshly rubbed/ground. Your bread is also fantastic and our total was $85 before the tip. (I think the salmon was a special one last night, so the price could vary slightly) We'll come here every time we visit Morganton. Thank you for this wonderful treat on our anniversary trip! Such a Charming Treat . When we walked into the entrance the colors of warmness was very welcoming. The long bar and hidden away tables in the individual corners. I really love what this owner did with the decor. Strolling down a small decline to our two person only table beside giant windows looking out towards the town mainstreet road. Server was nice food was good also. Only thing id change is the amount of time we had to wait for our food but biscuits and gravy sometimes you have to wait for some good food. It was enjoyable and relaxing. I will be back again for lunch and dinner and review. Thanks.

We were here for the first time last week and were really impressed! The atmosphere and the decor was beautiful. The hostess was so friendly and welcoming. Our server was excellent to explain some of their dishes that were all delicious and just a bit different and really excellent makes it more exciting for us to try some fabulous new dinner selection. All people involved in the portion and presentation of our dinner were excellent and professional. As a surprise and very special treat, the cook came out after our main course to talk to us! The whole experience was wonderful and very unforgettable! We recommend this beautiful restaurant very much! We will definitely come back!

After exploring Morganton and the surroundings with breweries and wineries through the day, we needed a good meal. We saw this place online and we are able to find parking not far from the building. The atmosphere was very pleasant and unique. The decor and lighting made it really clear compared to others in the area as fun and eclectic. The beverage card had a fair selection and our drinks were delicious. The bee knees made from gin, basil, rosemary and fresh lemon and also the Frankie Silver Wodka, Cava, fresh berries were fantastic.
