"On the positive side, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I had two different waitresses during my meal; the second one was particularly impressive and seemed to manage the entire floor well. However, there were several drawbacks. The food itself was average considering the prices, particularly the performance of the kitchen staff—which I’ll elaborate on below. I ordered wings as an appetizer and one of the burgers for my main course. The burger was decent, but not particularly special—nothing you couldn't find elsewhere for around $10. My biggest issue was with the wings. While 10 wings for $14 is not too steep, it still feels pricey when the quality doesn’t match. Four of the wings were still noticeably pink inside. I did eat the rest but informed the waitress about the undercooked wings. She mentioned that there was an issue with the fryer, and that another table had voiced a similar complaint. This is concerning; if the kitchen staff is aware of a malfunctioning fryer, why would they serve food that could be undercooked? I went ahead and paid the bill, but it left a sour taste to know that I spent $14 on wings that weren't properly cooked, and that the kitchen staff felt it was acceptable to serve them."

This restaurant and bar is incredible! The fries are fresh, and the burgers are delicious. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is delightful. We especially love visiting for lunch in the spring so we can relax on their patio!

Disregard the negative reviews; they're from visitors who don’t recall the old carpeted floors and smoky atmosphere of Uptown Lounge. This restaurant consistently delivers a great experience. It’s tough to find fast service and delicious food at such a reasonable price anywhere else. Ver carta

Visiting Anderson and had the fish and chips with coleslaw and sweet potato fries. No upcharge for the fries, best I have ever had. A large piece of lightly coated fried fish and the coleslaw was delicious. I was brought up to clean my plate but could not finish it. Will definitely be back when in Anderson.
