"I’ve found one of the best ALL YOU CAN EAT HOTPOT experiences here in Chicagos south loop and it’s at Wagyu House!Everything is superior quality the meats, the service and the ambiance. Their A5 Wagyu beef is FLOWN IN DAILY from Japan and Australia!!! Their AYCE option includes options like wagyu, crab legs, sushi, ramen, lobster and more; it’s unbelievably good! The shrimp balls were so good Deep fried with a tasty sauce and I loved putting my crab legs in the broth and eating them warm; they honestly tasted great just chilled! This beautiful restaurant is great for a date night or girls night out and they even have happy hour and I love the little cute robot servers they have rolling around! The interior is very modern and even though there can be A LOT of people around, the noise doesn’t get overwhelming.Dont just take my word for it go experience this amazing restaurant yourself!"

AYCE A5 Wagyu. Hot pot or bbq style. Need to step up to premium option for Japanese A5. Standard is Australian Wagyu.

I had high expectations for this restaurant since it was my first time visiting. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The bathroom lacked paper towels and soap, which was disappointing. It took about 10 minutes for the waiter to bring my beer, and he didn’t provide any explanations about the menu or specials. Overall, it wasn’t worth it. The meat had an odd taste, although the sushi was decent. Ver carta

If you want BBQ Wagyu buffet and don’t mind it’s tad expensive then yes please you have to try it! It a great experience and a good dinner for your out-of-town friend just to show your warm welcome. If you are thinking of trying the hotpot buffet then…. Personally I just don’t think Wagyu is very good choice for hotpot cooking and their sauce could do much better honestly. Service and Atmosphere is excellent!

Wagyu hot pot — absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the feast for $79, which includes appetizers, various cuts of wagyu beef, and soup veggies. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and there’s a fantastic DJ spinning 90s hip hop. I really love the ambiance. The drinks are excellent as well. They offer a happy hour from 9 to 10 PM on weekdays, featuring buy one get one free drinks and entrees. It's a perfect spot for a date night!

The food was terrible. I took my 16-year-old niece to the movies, and afterward, we decided to eat here. This restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat option, but we only managed to eat half a plate because so much of the food was disgusting, and most of it was raw. You have to cook everything yourself, which was not what we expected. My bill came to nearly $200, and both my niece and I ended up with food poisoning; we were sick for a few days after leaving! I will never return. The steaks were incredibly oily, regardless of how long I cooked them. Ver carta

The least Celiac friendly restaurant of (quite possibly) all time. All I ordered was sashimi, and as someone with Celiac, you don’t expect your sashimi to be covered in soy sauce… especially when you clarified that you are gluten free. I paid for overpriced fish that wasn’t fresh that I couldn’t even eat if it DID look appetizing, because every single piece was doused in soy sauce (their website says NOTHING about this). Extremely disappointing to the point where it’s a joke. Gordon Ramsay would rip this restaurant to shreds if Kitchen Nightmares was still being produced.

This restaurant is unreliable when it comes to reservations. I called to book a BBQ table for a special occasion, but when we arrived with a birthday cake, we were unexpectedly seated at the hotpot table. When I inquired about the mix-up, I was informed that the person who handled my reservation was in training and made an error, and there were no BBQ tables available. They couldn't accommodate us for BBQ and only offered a $10 discount for the hotpot, which was quite disappointing. The poor management really stood out. Ultimately, we decided to leave without dining there. We ended up celebrating the birthday a week later at a much better restaurant.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
